I was excited to find a local artist to buy a piece from to commemorate my trip to the Gulf, and Evander Preston Contemporary did not disappoint! Though the gallery is closed to the public (it's used as an event space), we still got to see several of his paintings, one of the sculptures he was working on towards the end of his life and, of course, his incredible jewelry. Heather was so helpful in assisting me to find the perfect pieces and Susan showed us a series of photos commemorating Evander's life. I will certainly treasure my Evander Preston jewelry, and hope to acquire more pieces in the future!

I had Evander make me a diamond ring in 1985 I’m still wearing it today, his aesthetic, work and hospitality are unmatched in the world of jewelry designers and creators.

I was extremely stoked to find a parking spot on this street. I went specifically to visit this gallery. I was not disappointed. Jennifer helped me to pick the perfect pair of earrings. Then I met and a lovely conversation with Mr. Preston's widow. Thank you for the encouragement!

Love Evander Preston's shop. I was lucky enough to pick up some great jewelry pieces for my wife's birthday and our anniversary. As Pass a Grille locals, we were both ecstatic to finally have a few of his pieces.

Adorable shop! My aunt is a local and took me here. We both left with matching wave rings. So cute and great quality! The ring was displayed with another ring that looked so cute together that we didn’t get that day. Needless to say she returned after I left and bought it for both of us. This store will be on my list to visit each time I go to St. Pete.

This boutique was an inviting spot and marvelous first impression of the area adding to the artistic eclectic vibes of historic Pass-a-Grille. They have local beers and some wines, which you can pop open and enjoy while shopping along 8th Ave. The handcrafted fine jewerly here is what caught my eye from the local artist Evander Preston. I left with some dainty earrings. They have a wide range of jewerly - something for everyone. Most importantly the staff were engaging but also allowed space for perusing. Next time we're back in St P we will stop by to say hi.

I loved this store and all the hand crafted jewelry years ago. I was delighted to find it still open. Evander passed away and the store is evolving to include clothing and shoes. Still a neat place to see.

Jewelry design that you've never seen anywhere else. The studio itself is a work of art. I haven't been there for a while but the gold train and the motorcycle and the great Danes walking around make it worth visiting Evander's. The few pieces that I bought for my wife she would defend to her dying breath. They are cherished. They will offer you a Sangria or a cappuccino. Every now and then we would get lucky and walk in when he was cooking in his gourmet kitchen. Can you tell, I love this place

Evander Preston is the only thing in PassAGrille that you can spend lots of money and be happy because you life change forever by cool people with cool stuff. if you go to this island you go this place. or you really miss out. thank you beard man and nice lady. i come back and by more cool unique thing for my friend soon. so much art too. who knew?!
