I will never go to a CVS again after visiting this location. After telling me my prescription was ready I have to wait 40 minutes because they failed to apply my insurance. They didn’t even ask me about insurance, which covers the prescription, and therefore, they were ready to have me pay $200. Completely unacceptable!

I usually never go to this location ever. Not only have I been told by another CVS that this location doesn’t know what they are talking about, but I’ve wasted numerous hours in the drive-through retail me my story 16 times. One of the first ladies that talk to me on the phone told me at this location that they only had six amoxicillin left, when I pulled up the manager then told me that he didn’t know what anyone was talking about another wasn’t any at all. Two minutes later he got pulled aside and then said that they later found it. I came back to get the rest of the remaining and they now said they don’t have that prescription available in their computer. Do not waste your time coming here

Tried to get a prescription filled out. Took a week to find out that they wouldn’t take my insurance. Person who picked up was very rude and they had all of the information wrong when I called to fix the issue. After I found out they would not take my insurance I had it transferred to walgreens. Again person talking to me continued to have an attitude (I was being as patient and as nice as possible so no idea why the woman on the phone was so rude to me) and staff tried to blame the miscommunication entirely on my doctor. I ask them to transfer it for me, nothing. I get with walgreens (which has much better service tbh should’ve just went there) and they were unable to get the transfer. 2 days after I start the process to transfer I get a call from walgreens and they tell me that they had been trying to get my prescription for 2 days from cvs. The cvs again messed up all my information causing more delay. Each time walgreens called they were placed on hold for a long time and were told that the cvs would make the transfer. This never happened. I get a call today saying that they tried to call again today and were placed on hold for a long time where they remained until the cvs was closed. At this point I gave up on cvs pulling through and just asked my doctor to resend the prescription to the walgreens. Never coming back here.

This has been my pharmacy for the past 13 years. Never one problem, ever. Best pharmacy team in NE St. Pete run by competent people.

Still not as good as Walgreens. The general service quality is not as good. The pharmacy app is horrible compared to Walgreens. Not impressed. Redeeming quality is the 24hr service.
