Like others have said, the worst ever. Booked a car online, showed up at the contractual time and they said they didn't have a car!!! Seriously, if I'm late dropping off a car I get charged extra, but they willingly take a reservation knowing they don't have a car and it's " oh sorry". Unacceptable. This is your caution post. Don't ignore the reviews as I did, you'll be just as sorry as I am.

If I could give zero star I would, unfortunately my credit score is below the standards to rent a car. (SMDH). What about customers that have a job? what about second chances. Some companies are getting out of hand when running SS#. That's ok BUDGET, I discovered that I could rent a car through ENTERPIRSE AS LONG AS MY LICENSE MATCHES MY ADDRESS AND MY UNTILITY BILL IS UP TO DATE.THANK YOU SO MUCH ENTERPRISE!!

I would give negative stars if I can. Booked a rental car for two weeks and prepaid, as advised by Budget that the reservation is guaranteed. Went to pick up the car and was told no vehicles available and they go by first come first served. That we may come and check again at 5 pm but they can’t guarantee. On top of this, the agent & her manager were extremely rude as if we were at fault, leave alone apologizing for their screw up. . What’s the point of prepay, if they can’t hold the car. It’s a bait and switch. Never ever go to this location or deal with Budget ever againThey are scamming people by renting their cars to highest paid instead of honoring their contract.. I am filing a complaint with BBB and report it to AGs office for playing scams on clients.

Reserved and paid in advance for an SUV we were told there would be a toyota rav 4 or similar when we arrive Oct 21rst when we arrived they had no suv for us we were told there was an suv that was do to be returned soon if we wanted to wait which we did while we waited a couple was there to pick up a car and were told the only car they had smelled like weed but fabreeze would get rid of the smell the next guy in line was there for a truck went out and it wouldn't start the return for us never came so we were sent to sirata beach resort to pick up a ford edge we asked for sirius xm radio were told it was activated it never was were told to return the edge to sirata beach when we returned we did were told no you have to return it to 66th st budget where the original contract was all in all it was a complete circus very unprofessional and we will never rent from budget again.

I ordered a truck, furniture blankets and dolly to move. I got a 2006 truck, smelled like urine and cigarettes. The driver side door was barely attached. I didn't receive the blankets or dolly. I will not use this location ever again. The customer service was good and they didn't charge me for the "extras" but I had to buy a dolly at Lowes. Ugh!

Horrible experience. Reserved a van 2 weeks in advance via Priceline. I arrived to pick up my van to be greeted by 2 random people (employees?) who barely acknowledged me then took 10 minutes to tell me they don't have any vehicles. I had to find another van last minute. Got on the road 4 hours later than my scheduled time. Terrible, terrible, terrible.

This was by far the worst rental car experience I’ve ever had. Made a reservation online and prepaid for insurance through Expedia. Paid for a Uber to the location (Being that the have no space for personal vehicle parking). Got to the location and was immediately discriminated against. The lady behind the counter assumed that my student bank card (Which is a Mastercard and works as a credit/debit) was connected to a prepaid account rather than an actual bank account and attempted to run my card as a debit card rather than credit. Being that use of a debit card requires a credit check, I was told that I would need a major credit card because my credit check failed. I’ve never had an issue renting cars using my student account and my credit is roughly (680) so what kind of score do i need to rent a car?!?!? I honestly believe they were discriminating and just didn’t want to allow me to rent from this location. Ended up having to catch another uber ride home and drove my personal vehicle to my destination instead. In addition, this location looks like it’s 80 years old. The building wreaked of cigarette smoke and looks like it has never been cleaned. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to this location!!

AMANDA ws so unprofessional. Gave me attitude as soon as I walked through the door. And kept helping people that came in after me! She was really rude! I am a Uber driver and was just trying to get my rental I reserved!

Worst location to ever rent a car from. Rented a vehicle in May was promised the $170 deposit, waited until June 1st since I rented for 3 weeks full; to check my credit card account and it was never refunded back. Called Damien to check into this on June 3rd and was told by him I should see this $170 in 5 to 10 business days. Flash forward it is now July 29th, not a damn amount refunded back. You can keep it cause third time to call for a follow up and dispute is not a charm. Avoid this location like it's COVID-19. The reviews on here and other review sites are true about this location.

Where to begin? First I made a reservation over a month in advance. I went in 2 day’s prior to my pickup to ensure everything was good and to complete any paperwork to be proactive. I verified with them the date and vehicle type and was told. No, there’s nothing you need to do at this time. It’ll be a very quick and simple process 3 minutes. When Friday arrived, I went to pick up my vehicle, and they didn’t have ANY vehicles to meet my needs. The lady at the counter was obviously overwhelmed, and stated “ I was told NOT to contact anyone in regards to not having vehicles”! Her solution was for me to try another location 30 minutes away. After driving to another location. They, didn’t have any vehicles either. I was told to drive another 30 minutes to the Tampa airport. I returned to the lot, where the ONLY person who offered sincere empathy approached and offered to contact his boss to see if anything had been returned. After 10 minutes, he received confirmation that they had a vehicle to fit my needs. After spending 1.5 hours being kicked down the road. I was finally on the road!The level of ineptitude at the 66th Street location in St Petersburg was/is beyond measure!

No place to park and potholes you can see from space. However the lady behind the counter was helpful and efficient. Car was not clean but we only needed it for a day so not a huge deal.

No rentals were available for prepaid reservation a week in advance. Nightmare getting money back. Told they would pay for Uber to airport location. That was a lie.
