Got an oil change there recently, and all went well. Was surprised to go back last week and find them closed and out of business with a for sale sign out, and a crew emptying the garage. I hope another independent moves in, and not a huge chain.

Bn there 5 Xs. 3 out of the 5 they put in 5 qaurts- my Toyota takes 4.5!!! I X went back n they drained some out. A few days ago( I bring in my own synthetic oil- they put 5 quarts out of the contaner!! Went back following day- they wouldn't take out the overage-- hav to do myself. N lose of .5 oil costs me 5$ after 2500 moles I need the top up

I really hate that I have to leave a bad review for this place but unfortunately I do. I own a small local business and try to give my money to small local businesses so I chose All Star Fast Lube & Tune for my oil change which I usually do myself. I went in and it was no frills and no smiles but a fast and good priced oil change. When I got home my mechanic boyfriend checked the oil and found that it was over filled. Not a huge deal but he took it back and let the guys know so they can let some out. Unfortunately, the guy was very argumentative and said there is no problem with over filling a car with oil. Well that is very untrue and concerning for all the people trusting him with their cars. I'm ok with mistakes being made and fixed but when you can't even own up to your mistake and just fix the problem that's when you cross the line of being a bad business. I would have gone back if the problem just could have been fixed without the attitude. I recommend going somewhere else.Service: Oil change

Got a oil change service done here. I always check my oil after a service to ensure the jod was done right. This time it was over filled by 1/4 or 1/2 quart. No big deal right well I return with a good attitude and tried to explain the situation. The man that did the oil change was persistent that I was wrong and that it's ok to over fill a car with oil. He did reluctantly correct his mistake while telling me (this is the first time he has ever heard this) regarding that over filling vehicles can cause damage. I am 100% certain that over filling a car with oil will cause problems. It's unfortunate that the situation was handled this way. Definitely check the work if you come here.
