I had tried two different debit cards and canceling and so on but the machine was not working. She punched a couple buttons and said I don't know what to tell you and walked away. Otherwise the store is neat and no other problems.”

Try their cheesesticks, my favorite above nationa name brands.smaller selection or fruits and veggies, but always great looking and much better prices. The only downside is that if you see something you like, get it and get extras because you might not find it again.”

“Good selection of quality off brand foods at a good price. Non food items are also available at great prices. Cashiers are extremely fast, so don't worry if the line looks long or shoppers have a large basket full of stuff. Most of the cashiers, unfortunately, have been replaced by self checkout lines. It's still quick if you know how to scan items.”

“Where shopping is a pleasure...lol. It is for the most part, thats why I gave 5 stars. But, the deli - ordering a sandwich takes soooo long. Even when I order in advance, its never done. My brother is a grocery manager at another Publix and he says all the deli departments are like that...lol. But, to be honest, you cannot be a PUB SUB! None of the food chains can compete at all. It is worth the agonizing wait for a delicious PUB SUB!”

He was patient with me and understood all of my concerns. “Something tropical but Nothing acidic, no bananas, substitute coconut for mangoes”. Needless to say He understood the assignment. “I commend your bag boy, Sam, for going above and beyond today. He was in the lot picking up carts when he offered to help load my groceries. He noticed something was leaking. He took the cleaning item back and brought out a sealed container. Beyond that, he wiped down my case of water that had gotten wet and offered todo more, all the while apologizing for something that wasn’t his fault. Sam is a truly delightful young man.”

“If you live in Florida, you know Publix is the place to grocery shop...and all of us locals have our "favorite" retail location...well, I love the Eagle Park/Eagle Nest location on Park Street. It's a smaller store with less traffic and a smaller selection of items, but they have the necessities, and I can always hit up another location for my one-off items. The staff are great and familiar, and I can get in and out quickly!”

“My husband bought fresh cut roses at Aldi in South St. Petersburg. The price was $10.00 and he was charged .96 tax. The receipt said 7% sales tax. That doesn't compute. I tried to find out if there is a luxery tax on flowers but only found that florists have to charge 7.5% tax. If this is the case, why isn't it reflected on the tax rate on the receipt?”
