Extremely happy with our stay here, food was great. Filet at Coconut Charlie's was better than Spinners. Breakfast was great including the weekend special biscuits and Gravy, beach bar was also a great option for lunch and drinks.

Beautiful location and Kid friendly. With a well adjusted expectation, we enjoyed our trip and recommend this hotel for stays! It was only for a night, so we have a brief experience, but it was enjoyable as we spent more time at the beach and various gardens around st petes. The room was ok. Nothing special. We had to open patio and adjust our AC to get it room to aerate and get rid of strong damp smell when we checked in, but no biggie. Quick fix! We loved the automated checkin and gate access. The outdoors was great . Live music and nice ambience. We had some nice staff members we interacted with during stay. Morning breakfast was also great. No complaints there! We checked out before the 11am cutoff time which was great as we had more time in the morning to walk the beach. Also note when you request early checkin, they do a great job trying to honor your request. Our room was ready well before 4pm. Thanks to the team!

Avoid this property at all costs!!!! I had a reservation and called the hotel 60 hours prior to my arrival due to testing positive for Covid. The hotel has a 72 hour cancellation policy and the manager refused to waive the penalty for cancelling despite my being willing to provide proof of my diagnosis. Hilton brans had been know for their flexibility around changes in plans due to Covid. BUT NOT THIS PROPRTY!!! Clearly this property only cares about moneyThis is the worst sort of hotel. They should be cancelled due to their lack of concern for the public and public safety, they value money over everything else

Refused to cancel reservation without penalty even though I contacted over 48 hours prior to check in. I tested positive for Covid and the hotel refused as I was within the 72 hour penalty periodAvoid this hotel. The hotel should be cancelled as they do not care about guests they clearly only care about money

I came for a conference and was very pleasantly surprised! The food was REALLY good, Sherry took amazing care of us (she really seemed to care a lot). The location is perfect, the beach is the backyard, and it's tied to the hotels beach bar. The beach bar food was sub-par, honestly, especially for the price. I heard the same for the specialty drinks but did not try one. The live music was awesome, great vibe, great service (Brianna was really cool). They have volleyball courts, hammocks, complimentary beach chairs.. and right next door is another beach bar that's tons of fun. Rooms for spacious and comfortable! Front desk is kinda hit or miss, but most people there were pretty friendly. You're right near coffee, 711, liqour stores and more. Over all, I definitely would return

We really enjoyed a 3 night stay here. Rooms are updated and have very comfortable beds. The hotel is set close to the road with pool, bar and food behind. Then a nice group of hammocks on your way through a path to the beach.No need to book an ocean view IMO because the building is only 4 floors and is not positioned to really see anything. Rooms on south side face parking lot, Northside face next property.Very nice grounds and a heated pool for cooler days. We will be back!

This hotel is awesome, the rooms are great and the over all property is perfect for a vacation. Great pool and beach access.Only reason I have an overall poor review is the hotel on the last day will rush you out of the room, in my case 2 hours before the check out period. Even being a Hilton Diamond doesn't make a difference.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff (Jason) reached out to me ahead of my stay asking if they could do anything to make my stay better. Upon arrival I was given an upgraded room as a Hilton Diamond member. I mention this because a prior review indicated that they were refused the same opportunity. The location is convenient with gated parking included with the stay. The restaurants (both Coconut Charlies) are good. We took advantage of the cabanas and lounge chairs on the beach as well as the pool. This hotel charges a small resort fee ($30) for such amenities which is worth everything you get. Look around at other resorts and their fees and you will see you get a lot less for more money. The rooms and common areas were clean and updated which is always a concern of mine. Given the opportunity, I would stay here again.

beautiful spot on the beach. the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were well cared for. the cabanas on the beach were a very nice touch and we got to have such a relaxing morning. overall a great hotel!Food & drinks: the restaurant inside was DELICIOUS! i got a burger and fries and it was fantastic. we didn't try the seafood but it all looked great.

First off, I would like to thank Carla and the front desk folks for a wonderful welcome and experience at check-in.The room was great, and very clean. It was comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay! Parking looked like it would be hard to find at first look, but I found a spot right away.The room has a balcony, but it faces another set of buildings that look a bit rundown, but otherwise I had a wonderful time, with one exception, the restaurant/bar/grill, which I covered in my review for Coconut Charlie's Grill (look at that before eating there in the evening).Once again, the hotel was great, and if I am in the area again, I will definitely be back!

What a great spot. Loved the pool area. Bar and restaurant food, drinks and staff were all stellar. Great location. Amazing beach here. Cabanas included in resort fee. We will definitely return!

Overwhelmingly positive review and nothing but good to say for this Hotel. I frequent Hilton locations for work, albeit this one was not for work but rather play, and this is my favorite of them all. There is more that goes into a hotel than clean rooms and good location; this location has both. The staff went above and beyond to make me and my guest feel welcomed, invited, and right at home. Excellent location, great restaurant, and friendly staff makes this place a MUST for any St. Pete getaway.One word of critique, place some Diamond Member parking next to the door INSIDE the gate. Would be much more valuable to have it inside rather than farthest from the door.Thanks again for a wonderful stay!- John

Stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. Even partial view rooms like ours have a pretty good view of the gulf. The resort fee gets you parking, water bottles and access to the pool plus beach cabanas. Bed was comfortable.

I am giving a ONE STAR for my family's experience. I was going to be flying in very late at night. My son and his girlfriend was going to be staying with me and getting in earlier. I called the hotel that morning asking if my son could check in for me. They said no problem. All I need is his name. That night my flight was delayed and didn't land until 1:30am. My son contacted me that the front desk would not let him check in since he wasn't 25. His girlfriend and him were sleeping on the sofas in the lobby. They had just finished day three of a 14 hour a day drive. For some reason, sleeping in the lobby was ok, but checking in the room that I and they gave permission for wasn't ok. I immediately talked with the front desk and demanded that they let them into the room. They reluctantly allowed them since I was on my way. The age of check in is actually 21 so they lied right off the bat. My son is 20.5 years old. When I asked for permission for him to check in for me they never asked his age. Considering he is so close in age and I had made this arrangement they should have allowed it. When I asked the front desk clerk if he thought it strange that two people were sleeping in the lobby that late at night he said it's not uncommon. That alone should concern anyone staying at this hotel. He hadn't even asked them who they were. The next day I spoke with the manager. Her primary concern was who I talked to about my son checking in for me. she repeatedly asked for her name which I did not know. She didn't really care about my son's experience. She just said that 21 is there policy. All she offered me was a few hotel points. Regardless of this experience, I would give this hotel a THREE STAR. This hotel is nothing special. The worse part is that they sit way off the beach. All the other hotels around them are much closer to the beach. In addition, you cannot see the beach from the pool or the hotel unless you are at one of the top floors on the end and even then you are very far away. I booked a partial ocean view room. All I could see was the tiniest of sliver of ocean between trees and building. I you held 2 fingers on top of each other one inch apart, that's all the ocean you could see. And even that view was super short due to all the trees behind the hotel. I have tried many hotels in the area trying to find a really great one but this one would be last simply because it's so far away from the beach and really no ocean view at all.
