By far the best vacation of our lives. The rooms were spectacular, the service and friendliness made you feel at home, the views/location were perfect, all of the amenities to both beach house and the Don was awesome, and food and drinks were spectacular.
Tasha our bartender made our stay awesome as well. I’m a tequila kind of girl and there wasn’t much on the menu that appealed to me, she made me this Key Lime Pie drink and it was hands down the best drink I have ever had and wish I could have it here at home haha!
Highly recommend this beautiful place. Condo like rooms, easy beach access, all the amenities. It was perfect.

We’ve stayed at the Beach House Suites at the Don Cesar three times and it is my favorite way to enjoy the beach! They really make things so easy - especially not having to pack a lot thanks to the in-suite washer/dryer. Additionally, having multiple dining options on site as well as recommendations for nearby restaurants and in-suite kitchenettes, gives families the full spectrum of choices and flexibility for keeping everyone fed and having fun. The kids club activities are scheduled for mid-day so you don’t have to rush family time in the morning - giving kids something fun to do while providing a perfectly timed break for parents.

The Don Cezar Beach House Suites has alwas been our favorite place to stay in Florida. We have been comming for over 15 years and stay either in June or July. When they did the room renovations 2 years ago I decided I did not want to come back any more because in my opion they destroyed the practicality of the rooms and especially the Kitchen. They used to have full size refriguators and a nice oven and stove which was replaced with a really cheep mini refrigerator and stove with no oven.
The purpose of a beach house is to have a full size kitchen and rooms
with closet space that accomidates both the wife and husbands clothing
which was changed to 1 closet which is a big problem when you are staying for a week like we do every year and no closet space like they used to have. The hole room setup is totally impractical and it looks modern but that is not what I stay there. I want
good service which they have, I want a nice beach which they have, I want a nice pool which they have. I want a full size kitchen which they did have and now do not have, I want a nice room with 2 closets which the did have and now do not have, I do not want to pay extra for parking which they did not charge for in the past, I want a refrigerator that works which they used to have and now its just these cheep mini refrigertors that don't work so I now have to ask for a second frig with a frezzer because the ones they supply you with do not have a frezzer that works. I eat at the Don all the time but a noon I like to sit on the balconey and have a ice cream at my convience from my own room or a drink of some kind. I did come back last year but I did have to ask for a second refrigerator because the one supplied in the room did not work at all.
I also expect good glasses to drink out of and silver ware and bowls
which used to be very nice and are not cheep plastic which I refuse to use. They also remove the cabinets in the kitchen so if you buy bread or ceral or chips there is not place to put them. I hope the new owners of the Don Cezar fix these problems because in my opion the last owners
ruined the rooms and the practicality of basically every aspect. Any other Beach House in Florida come with a full size refrigerator, kithen cabenets, nice drinking glasses, dishes,silverware etc., and decent closet space. I love the motel but I really hate the rooms..

Had the most wonderful time on my recent birthday trip to the Don Cesar. The entire stay was lovely. Friendly staff and fantastic amenities. We enjoyed a phenomenal meal at the Mariana and a lovely spa day at Spa Oceana.

Once again, another disappointing experience by the Don Cesar. Aside from being promised a room by 11 and on the 5th floor and receiving the opposite upon arrival, the pool was an absolute nightmare. There are no rules or regulations and being hit in the face by a football was more likely than not! Why are children allowed to behave this way in public places??? Why, as an adult, am I not allowed to enjoy the pool bc the establishment will not enforce pool rules? We were reluctant to give this properly another try and I was immediately reminded why we don’t come here! Never again!

Great stay again this year. Only complaints relate to room service not always cleaning the rooms and getting an attitude when requested. Beach is great with chairs set up for your party a huge bonus. Pool was kept clean and not too crowded. Having access to the Don Cesar workout room was a huge bonus.
Rooms: Family suite was great second year in a row. Housekeeping isn’t always on top of things. Balcony is small but what can be done.
Noteworthy details: One noteworthy problem that I really thought makes this place stand out was their reaction to customers smoking marijuana in the room next to me after the first night we stayed. After some conversation with the staff the people were given the option to move rooms or leave after multiple offenses. This is a huge plus in the St Pete’s area as this seems to be a common problem in rooms and on balconies.

I had been paddle boarding for miles along the beach and felt exhausted and tired and the heat was getting to me. I put my paddle down and walked to get a drink and a break from the hot day and Samuel (bartender) noticed I might have been dehydrated and tired. He swiftly got me the necessaries even though there was plenty of work for him to take care of at the bar by the pool. He made sure I was doing better and was super attentive, as this was more than just a thirsty customer. I might have had a health episode had Samuel not stepped in on time. Thank you for taking care of me Samuel! I will never forget that.

The absolute best part of our St Pete’s beach vacation to the Don Cesar Beach House Suites was Fabian!!! He took care of every want and need we had on the beach the entire time. He made us feel so special and well taken care of. We hope the hotel appreciates him as much as we do! He is an asset to the resort for sure!!!!!
