“We have been using Petco grooming at St Johns-Durbin Park for over 4 years and always been happy. The primary reason is our groomer Amanda. She has developed a bond with our Goldendoodle who has extreme anxiety issues and he loves her. The trips to Petco are a treat and one of the few places he likes to go. She has worked with us on recommending styles and always done an excelent job on the cuts. We could not be happier!”

“Bri was the best! If everyone in customer service was like Bri, everyone would be the happiest customer ever. I was lucky to have taken my daughter to a friend’s house in St A. I needed something to do for a few hours. I had my new dog Brandy with me, and after she pulled me through a nature park for a ‘nice stroll’ I googled the nearest pet store. I love my Atlantic Beach Pet Supplies Plus, so I was happy that’s what came up. Bri helped me with size, best color for Brandy; she knew style was just as important as a happy walk. ? Bri put each harness on and adjusted each one to fit. She was very generous in doing that! I have never used a harness. It would have taken me through a bout of confusion and frustration to put that thing on a dog who wasn’t wanting to be still for it!! Thank you Bri! And now! Brandy is styling, rockin an ocean blue harness, (the color Bri knew she’d rock) and I’m smiling not getting pulled on our walk! And! The leash no longer goes under her front leg. Ahh, peace!! Thanks Bri!!I also bought treats on sale, and a great de-shedder Bri recommended. She was very patient and understanding about not only getting the perfect style, but also price!!”

“My experience today was phenomenal . The owner and Naomi were so so kind .i seriously wanted to give him a bear hug but didn’t wanna scare him so I refrained. I gave him the nick name PJ (pop jr) since he doesn’t look old enough to be the pop at the mom and pop business . He was so knowledgeable about the food my puppies need and what would fit my budget .(which is an extremely tight one ) they were both so patient . I’ was on my way into my usual pet store but I’m so glad I decided to take a detour today . I have found a place I can trust and also feel welcomed to. Honestly they give a family kind of vibe .. support our local business at earth pets!”

“We had purchased a baby bunny that had passed in a few days after getting her due to a parasitic infection. We brought vet records to the store in hopes to help them avoid another tragedy with the bunnies they currently had. This is not something that the store is responsible for, nor do we feel this is their fault- We want to share how caring they handled this situation and with so much concern and they too do not want any other families to experience what we went through. This is a wonderful store with great staff.”

“i brought my dog Chicken Little in for grooming and had a nice experience. he was well taken care of by abigail. i accidentally agreed to an add on service and they were kind enough to remove that after the appointment. i was embarrassed to have made that mistake and that they still brushed his teeth and used different shampoo but i am so appreciative of abigail and her manager that they helped me out. great place”

“Had my first grooming appointment at PetSmart today and was so satisfied! I have a 4 1/2 year old goldendoodle who weighs about 60lbs. My nerves were high going in as we'd never had grooming done at a corporate salon, mostly mobile salons, but I was so happy with the outcome and it met my standards fully! We have a regular groomer but unfortunately had to cancel our appointment so we booked here. We booked with Angelica (who I highly recommend) and she did us right!

We booked for the Bath and Full Haircut. He came home smelling amazing with a perfect haircut. He didn't seem overly stressed coming home and I feel like he was well taken care of. Angelica started with a hands on assessment where she actually got down to his level and looked at his face, ears, and coat. That was a pleasant surprise! It took about 3 hours, which is roughly an hour longer than it has taken at other groomers but I didn't mind it as the attention to detail was clearly shown. She was finishing up his cut when I arrived and I appreciate that she didn't rush finishing just because I was waiting. The sanitary trim on his behind is the CLEANEST I have ever seen on him! All the hair is gone and I very much appreciate it as with his coat it can get very gross back there. She scissor trimmed his ears which we haven't had done before but I LOVE! I'll be adding it on with my regular groomer.

Max seemed very comfortable with Angelica despite just meeting her and I think thats because she just seems so genuinely kind. Picking him up he didn't seem nervous or scared. If I need to book again, I'll be doing so with Angelica!”

I figured a big chain like this could check total inventory. Especially since I can do it in their online store.”

Jasper and the other employees there made the process so easy and even helped me make sure he would have food and water on the hour drive back home. “This is Leonardo Eugene the Great of Jacksonville. Aka... Leo. He is the sweetest thing ever. We added him to the family on Feb 17th after I was on the hunt for the perfect pet. I had 0 intention of getting a puppy. In fact, I was content on a bunny. My husband remembered a puppy store in the mall. So in a strange turn of events, on the way to an exotic pet store, I made a split second decision to follow his lead.The ppl who work there instantly welcomed us in, and explained how everything works..we happened to see another customer with 2 pomeranians and I was just so tickled over their sweetness and fluff! That customer left and I was so excited bc I said "I want that one!!" They closed us in a small gate where my husband and I, along with my 5 yo and 2 yo granddaughter and Leo just played..me n the kids sat in the floor and we just... played. A puppy is a huge decision for us. We haven't had pets in years and we needed to be sure we were doing the right thing. They allowed us as much time as we needed and once we fell in love, we spoke to the owner about the price. He was friendly, negotiable, attentive, and engaging. After trading stories and negotiations, we bought our baby pom and brought him home. Our entire family feels blessed to have had such a pleasant experience, and would definately purchase from puppy avenue again. Our Leo is, and always has been in tip top health. We can't imagine life without him. I'm sorry others didn't get the same experience but I felt the need to share mine, because not everyone's is the same. We'll be back at some point to get Leo's companion and add the last and final member to this 6 children 1 pet-baby home... thank you puppy ave!”
