This was probably the best experience I’ve ever had at a veterinary office. I brought my snake in for an infection he has and they were able to get us in same day, even though they seemed pretty busy. We probably spent 5 minutes waiting to be seen. The staff and veterinarian were wonderful and compassionate. The vet was very thorough and took great care of my little guy. Best of all I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the cost was. What I paid for the exam, treatment, AND medication was about what I pay just to walk in the door at some other places. I’m going back with my cats and recommending them to everyone!

I cannot express how grateful I am that I have found this vet office. Today was his first visit and this was different than any experience I’ve had at any other vet. Every single staff member was so accommodating and helpful, from the second we walked in the door. No long wait times either, they take you back immediately. Other vets I have taken my dog to over the last few months were not able to give my dog a nail trim and kept suggesting to sedate him, he finally was able to get them done today, no sedating necessary. These people really care about your pet and I am just so thankful I found them. Thank you guys sooo much!!

This is hands down the best vet I've ever been to. Dr. Hugh is absolutely amazing and incredibly accommodating. Not only is he beyond affordable, he really knows what he's doing.
I was looking for a vet that knows how to handle a cat with stomatitis. A couple of years ago, my sweet Riley was diagnosed with stomatitis and I was told by the first vet to euthanize her because she would never get better and we'd always just be treating the symptoms. Second vet said similar things and also pushed for euthanasia. Finally, after 4 vets opinions, I had enough and joined a feline stomatitis group on Facebook and asked if anyone knew of a vet that was well versed in stomatitis and could possibly handle a full mouth extraction anywhere in Florida, but preferably between Orlando and Jacksonville. I was directed to Durbin Creek Animal Hospital, and I'm so happy I found them!
Dr. Hugh and his awesome team made time for my Riley and her sister who had recently broken a tooth. Two local vets quoted me for the extraction of my Chloe's ONE broken tooth for literally 5 times what Durbin Creek did, not to mention, Dr. Hugh was able to see in just a brief exam that she actually had TWO problem teeth. Dr. Hugh is very kind and compassionate and made time for two dentals, one obviously being a complex dental because all of poor Riley's teeth needed to be removed to give her a better quality of life. I asked at the front desk about my late brother's cat that also recently broke a tooth (we seriously just had a dental disaster this year) and needed to be neutered. For a dental and neuter at another "affordable" vet, we were quoted almost $5,000 due to his age and heart murmur. They made time for ALL 3 of my babies to be taken care of on the same day (today) since I drove an hour and a half to bring my babies here.
I'm blown away, honestly. I couldn't believe the total today. Kind, compassionate, knowledgeable vet care for an affordable rate?! Pinch me! I will happily drive this far as long as I live in Florida because you'll never find a better vet.

My daughter told us of Durbin Creek and how compassionate they are with animals. While we were visiting, we had to take our 12 year old dog there. We have never experienced such heartfelt attention. The way Dr. Hugh approached our little girl was amazing. His demeanor was kind, and the way he engaged with us and our dog never frightened her. Within a few minutes, she was calm and never resisted his thorough examination! That just doesn't happen!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! God bless you!

Dr. Hugh saved our dog's life two years ago and we will now never go anywhere else. The entire staff at Durbin Creek Animal Hospital is amazing and treats you like family. Dr. Hugh is truly special and connects with animals in a way I have never seen before. So very thankful.

First time here w/our 3 year old Havanese. Dr. Hugh is amazing! Completely different vibe. No exam table, just a big cozy room for our dog to meet him. Dr. Hugh is quiet and gentle. We have only had our dog for 2 mos. but she always growls @ strangers. I put our dog in his arms & she didn’t even flinch. I have definitely found our new veterinarian. Thank you all!

I have been taking my pups here since I could. I trust Dr Hugh and his staff with their lives. They have always been accommodating, honest, great with the pups. You ca. Tell they are all animal lovers for sure. Today, I had to put my oldest bulldog down. Hardest thing ever. They put him in a room with me and a blanket and gave me all the time in the world to say goodbyes. They were loving and compassionate. He's been going there forever so it was a loss for them too this company is run on love not profit. They'll love your pet as much as you do!

I took my boy Budgie to have his teeth cleaned on December 21st. Dr Hugh pulled 8 teeth. My boy went from growling and swatting at everyone since we adopted him. One day after surgery, he is a different cat. I have never seen such a transformation that quick. He is rubbing all over me and very playful. I am so pleased with how awesome they are and how affordable they are. Thank you Dr Hugh and your staff for all that you do for my children. Lloyd Walters
