Let me set the scene, I get out of my car where the guy who works there promptly tells me they’re closing in 15 minutes, somewhat abrupt but of course I understand. I was in the store for 5 minutes, so it’s now 3:50 and they close at 4:00. The same guy turns off the music. One of the ladies who works there said ‘oh I’m not used to the music going off so early’, where the guy responds to her ‘you have to set the tone’, and then said it 2 or 3 more times ‘set the tone, you have to set the tone’. In other words, letting myself and another shopper (that I believe had already left at this time) in the store know that they are closing. I personally thought that was so rude. I already knew that the store was closing at 4:00, so there was no reason to, as he said, set the tone. I felt like he was rushing me out the door so they could close early. I did bring this up to the lady behind the counter but I’m sure nothing will be done about it. It’s really unfortunate because I liked this thrift store as it is a small, not crowded and clean store that I have purchased from them a few times. But now I won’t be going back. If you’re open until 4:00 then that is how long people have to be in the establishment. If you don’t want to be open that long then close at 3:30.

Will say condition of clothing has gone down in quality and up on pricing. For used worn thrift items, for the last 2 years, choices have unfortunately gone down, but appreciate the effort put in to improve the decor and cleanliness as looks much better.

In 2024 someone started pricing items as if they were BRAND NEW and not DONATED ITEMS FOR THE POOR OF HILLSBOROUGH CTY. I Won't step foot in again. This is a shame. Living necessities costing hundreds of dollars??? Does St Vincent know????? Most people walk out in bewilderment.

Grateful for the pickup service from SVDP, helpful and friendly to coordinate donations, glad knowing too, furniture, clothing and houseware sales help families in the community. The thrift shop is well organized and managed by helpful volunteers. A great organization that has been a part of the area for many decades. Prices in shops are reasonable to make donated goods available to those in need, great value...stop in often as there are daily donations and the inventory can vary.

I've seen them take pictures to price items at retail prices. Lots of missing price tag on items. They have items marked as either small, med or large which makes it confusing. I always have to ask the prices. I don't even get a cart when I'm there. Just scan the aisles and go. It is very clean and organized, but I much rather look through chaos to find a good deal. The regular cashier that's bilingual. Needs an attitude adjustments.

Not too impressed. I have been there several times. Very overpriced merchandise for a thrift store. People who shop at thrift stores do not purchase from eBay also Ebay price's posted do not sell for advertised price need to check the filter for sold prices. A set of china $180? My daughter was given my Aunts Haviland bridal china and got rid of it. I do not know anyone who would pay that for old china patterns most prefer Crate and Barrel and Pottery Barn. Very sad since it helps serve the community, a leather purse was locked up and marked $100 I would not have paid $100 new. Better prices at Marshall's and Home Goods. I went several times in order to be fair as I had heard about the high prices and wanted to see if true, sadly it is. Many knick knacks were priced higher than you would find new. I hope whoever is responsible for pricing will price donated items intended when given to help the community, will think would you pay this price for this item? Are you truly serving the people who are hurting so much in this economy?

I stumbled across this thrift-store on accident! I was meaning to visit another one but the GPS brought us here. The store was very clean and organized. I found a few things I needed and otherwise continued browsing. I noticed that the prices were a bit steep sometimes but reasonable other times. So I'd say overall it's worth checking out if you're into thrifting.

Clean, organized, but prices are very high for old fashion stuff even in perfect condition. There are many of other thrifts with similar stuff but much cheaper. $ 400 for grand mom’s dishes is way too much .

This is the most expensive thrift store I have ever been to in my entire life. They charge more for old used items than they originally cost when they were brand-new.
