They seem to be scanning packages late to buy themselves more time for delivery.
My package was “out for delivery” in my town and supposed to be delivered by 7:55pm yesterday; more than an hour before that estimated time, it was already left “processing” back at the distribution center further away. Somehow, my package has *now* “arrived” at the distribution center this *afternoon*—which is clearly false. I signed up for tracking update alerts, and to this evening, I have not had a single update on the status or any of the changes that have occurred that I had to look up myself. At least not any since the alert telling me it would be delivered by yesterday evening. Zero transparency to at least let me know what to expect or when. Not a single update over 24 hours from their own expected delivery time. Nothing.
ETA: This morning my package is again “out for delivery” in my town “by 7:55pm.” So they didn’t even bother trying to deliver it yesterday, and gave no updates until this morning that is identical to what they said two days ago.

Left a Priority Mail Express 1-Day Delivery package with a lady at the counter - at 2pm - and she couldn’t be bothered with scanning it until long past the 5:30pm deadline for overnight shipments. What a waste of time and money.
I cannot believe she was standing there scanning packages and could not take a single second to scan mine over several hours. This cannot be negligence. It has to be malice. It has to have been intentional. Unreal.

Not friendly. I went in to drop off packages and I was told by a lady that I couldn’t drop off my package because it’s not closed up with tape and that they don’t have tape. What kind of shipping place does not have tape? Plus they didn’t have to be rude.

They are the biggest liars you’ll ever come across and just might be down right evil.

Went to drop off packages from eBay and waited in line for over 25 minutes while the two larger women that worked there laughed and bickered to eachother behind the counter. She then proceeded to tell the woman that was waiting in line 25+ minutes that it was her fault the package was sent to USPS because she didn't put her apartment number and to make sure she did next time, even though the box clearly displayed her number. After she left they then giggled with each other and then it was my turn up. I was told I can't ship out the packages with my prepaid labels because "It's a ground label or box." This is the first time I've ever heard this and been denied in store after sending hundreds of packages through eBay. I've shipped from multiple locations with the same box and same label type that she said was no good. This is also my first time at this location, I tried explaining to her that multiple other USPS locations have shipped my packages no problem but she insisted I couldn't, 10 minutes before closing on a Saturday when I have shipping deadlines to make. Place is an absolute joke, maybe if USPS paid their employees more they wouldn't get the most retarded bottom of society employees.

The passport service is the worst. I made an appointment at 9 and they never arrived, additionally online says that you can take your photo there and they don't have a photo service.

It’s either hit or miss as far and the wait times go. Sometimes there’s no line and then sometimes it’s almost out the door. I don’t think I’ve waited much more than 30 minutes. The staff is always friendly and informative. My complaints would be that they run out of stamps, which is perplexing for a post office. However, they say they are super busy. And sometimes the packing supplies are slim pickings.

The toughest thing is that Google maps doesn't have a 0 star rating. I believe a fourth world country's post office would be more helpful and more capable. People should be paid to go and keep that office open, and the fact the employees go home and say they have a job , let alone get paid for it, is the biggest scam. Rude, unhelpful, denying services the actual government website mentions, out of tape, out of stamps, out of pens , you name it. If Will smith was around, he'd drop a lot of slaps

I just got rejected by the passport person after having made an appt a month ago. She was very loud, speaking to me for all the line to hear my business. She was rude and unkind. Usps should invest in teaching its staff better manners. I went to the city of greenacres passport location and got my passport done with no problems. I will never come to usps for passports ever again.

After waiting 20+ minutes in line, I was told they couldn’t ship out my package due to being completely out of tape. I said “a post office is…out of regular packing tape?” She (nicely, to be fair) said “yes, I’m sorry.” So I went over to UPS, asked them if they could please send it out despite it having a USPS packing slip, and they happily said “of course!” When I told them what happened at the post office the UPS worker said “there’s no way…they lied to you. They have tape. They absolutely have tape.” Granted, I’m not sure if it was lying or inexperience. Needless to say, I’ll be taking my packages to UPS now and deal with spending the few extra dollars to save my sanity.
