I definitely do not recommend this company! This is the second time using them because I thought they did a decent job the first time, but wow was I so wrong. This company has awful communication skills, with unreliable and sloppy work. Let me start by saying one of the owners ordered the wrong turf and had it installed it was completely different texture and different color and reeked of cat pee. I contacted them and they told me I needed to purchase a deodorizer for my brand new turf and that would fix the smell. Why should anyone need to deodorize brand new turf?! Then the owner convinced me to settle on adding a putting green to break up the to different turfs because that same owner said he would be in so much trouble having to rip everything out and redo and install the correct turf. It isn't what I wanted but I am a flexible and understanding person to a point. But then he had the audacity to ask me to PAY to fix his mistake?! The putting green turned out in the shape of a peanut instead of the kidney shape he had convinced me with. We installed a rock bed (by ourselves, not the company) coming off the pvc fence because if you weren't informed the sun reflects off the pvc fence and burns the turf (we found this out through experience with the first install- no one told us). The edging they did was cut so poorly and so sloppy, it just looked terrible. It took them over a month to fix this situation and now the putting green was reshaped but two different colors because the sun faded the original one, which once again I was told after installing . The edging wasn't fixed and they decided to cut corners and use the rocks from the rock bed to form a straighter edge. I had to continually reach out and ask for resolution, and was brushed off many times. I could go on, but I'm so over it and just hope that at least one person is saved from the grief that I had.

Unfortunately, my wife and I are unable to provide even the slightest of positive reviews to Matt and his team. Simply put, these are people to avoid, no matter how smooth the conversation goes. Here is what we experienced. 1. Multiple schedule changes. This can be understandable, if annoying. 2. Install team attempted to install turf without the promised weed barrier. Had we not been watching, they would have done so, which would have had a terrible effect. There folks only begrudgingly did what they promised and contracted to do. 3. Broken and untested sprinkler. The install team broke an underground pipe for our sprinkler, did not test the system (which was promised by Matt), and has subsequently promised multiple times (and never actually done so!) to address this issue. Beware of this company and it's owner who will attempt to sweet talk you while not following up and doing what he says he will. A well deserved 1 star.

Decided to spruce up my backyard a bit and contacted BLUE OCEAN TURF and we are ecstatic with the turnout and the look of our backyard. A truly professional company, great installers. And good pricing. I would highly recommend BLUE OCEAN TURF, if you are looking to spruce up your home.

Working with Blue Ocean Turf was an absolute pleasure! All of our questions and requests were tended to in a timely manner! Matt was very professional and had great ideas without being pushy! Ramon and all of the installers were very respectful and did a great job from start to finish! We are so happy with the results of our yard! It made a huge difference in the aesthetic of our yard as well as the cleanliness of it!

I was quoted 3200.00 for this job. When the rep came to install the green he said that I would have to pay an additional 300.00 for the size that we already agreed on. Instead of using one piece of turf, they sewed in an additional piece that you can clearly see the seem. There is now a bump in the green. They also ruined my existing lawn because it had rained the day before. We also had ants digging through the green a few days later. I would never recommend or do business with this company again.

Our experience with Blue Ocean Turf was excellent. Tom Bowman the owner was responsive, an excellent communicator, and he followed through with promises and quotes. And it looks great. We were in a hurry to get the work done and he was great about expediting the process. We would highly recommend Blue Ocean Turf.

I had an awesome experience with this company. The owner, Tom Bowman, is totally focused on customer satisfaction. From picking up the phone every time, to showing up on time all the time, and choosing employees who do the same. Start to finish, my backyard was transformed in one week. It’s beautiful, and natural looking…which was a big concern of mine. Tom definitely took the time to make sure I got what I wanted. I would recommend this company to anyone! They are terrific!!!

Great service and very affordable. I was getting quotes that didn’t make sense for what I needed. Blue Ocean gave me a great price and had the job done when they originally quoted. I’d recommend them to anyone.

I had been debating replacing my sod with turf for years. I had gotten a couple estimates and recommendations but never felt like I’d love it; finally when Matt came out I knew I wanted to work with them. We ended up doing the entire front and back of the house and it couldn’t have come out more perfect. It looks like a whole new home. Through the planning process Matt was excellent along the way giving me confidence that the investment was going to turn out great.
