I came here over a year ago and think about going back all the time. There was a piece I didn't get and wish I had. I can't wait until next time I'm in town to see if it's still available. So much cool stuff here!

Would most definitely recommend this gallery for all your coastal art needs. Gary Handler and his team are absolutely amazing! I no longer live in the 30a area, but they still made the process just as easy as if I was nearby. The piece arrived in perfect shape via shipping. Gary communicated with me throughout the whole process. Thank you so much!

Love the store model and the variety of pieces. The glass options really gives it a unique feel.Eric Playford must have never walked in or went to the wrong store. I didn't see a single seashell the whole time I was there.

Not art. I understand art is subjective, but this is literally a craft fair for sad middle-aged folk who think nailing sea shells to your wall with bulky, oversized nails is home decor. Not a single piece here is art. Sad, pathetic, waste of time. Buy toast with Jesus burned into it on eBay before going here. Should be ashamed to call this an art studio.

My wife and I visited this location in November 2022 and were really impressed with the art and staff. The main curator was so kind and professional, she knew the artists and various styles and offerings available at the store and online. The website is well designed and easy to navigate for someone not so familiar with boutique art stores. They had a fun open wine night where artists Simon Kenevan and Thomas Arvid did live demonstrations. It was an amazing evening where we got to hear some of the life stories as well as techniques of both artists, who were extremely kind and approachable. Their art is exquisite and very aesthetic, and the shop has great offerings in many different styles, mostly various 2D canvas as well as rare shells / shell like replicas and glass. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in Rosemary Beach.

Buyer beware. I ordered a piece of art and then had to go through a whole process when I got home because this retailer does not ship for you. They do not cover the cost to ship the art like most other galleries. So go ahead and add an extra hundred dollars in your budget when you're placing a purchase for artwork. And then put on your to do list that you're going to have to work with UPS and give them payment with other instructions along with securing insurance. Quite an ordeal.

To curate To select, organize, and look after the items in (a collection or exhibition). - Curate 30A is a sophisticated, discerning gallery for art connoisseurs who appreciate the finer details of art. Curate regularly has guest artists who are creating in the gallery and available to talk to patrons about their creative process and their art. I am normally invited, and I love digging deep into the "how" of the creative process. What is the inspiration? What is the artist's sequence as they create? That excites me. Nestled along Main Street in European feeling Rosemary Beach, Curate 30A is quite special and a place you will find high quality art, unlike so many places that sell what I call junk art. It's for the discriminating buyer! "A curator's job does not involve wizardry, but requires a wealth of experience and knowledge, responsibility, and a good overview of artistic developments. But if we are lucky, we curators still manage to enchant visitors with the results." ~René Block and Carin Kuoni, Words of Wisdom: A Curator's Vade Mecum
