John is super knowledgeable, just went through top end of the motor including a big cam, duel valve springs, Bryan tooley rockers, chromoly push rods, ls7 roller lifters, etc. John was able to locate a miss. He fixed the spark issue before going onto tuning. The car is running way better than expected!! BEST TUNER IN THE AREA.Thankyou John!

I called John and he explained so much to me and my car wasn't even in his hands yet...a few days later it was and when I say I am beyond happy ?...I am , it came from another guy and I wasn't happy at all but after John put his hands on it I was. My c7 is really fun and fast now

went to john to have my 2001 camaro tuned, gave the car to him in a shape that you shouldn’t give to your tuner, however he tightened all the bolts i left loose, put my radiator back where it was supposed to be, bleed my coolant. then boom my FAILpro head gasket blew, he let me use his garage and his tools to pull my heads, replace gasket and reinstall everything and he finished his tuning, great guy who became a friend, wouldn’t want to be tuned by anyone else

John tuned my Gen 5 L83 5.3/8L90 swap. Truck runs very well. New tune on the engine and the trans. Will hold 8th gear at 80 roll’n with traffic. John put enough spread in it so the second you give it some throttle it doesn’t jump down 3 gears to get back to speed. It holds a solid state now. Very happy on my end for sure. John is very knowledgeable and I say that having some knowledge of how all of this works so it’s not coming from someone that “thinks” the tuner knows something just because the tuner fixed something they couldn’t. Excellent. Incredible amount of knowledge. Roastin tuned my supercharged 04 5.3 Tahoe, and completely fixed a terrible tune in my 02 SS Camaro. Both were spot on. The Tahoe was incredibly frustrating due to all the false info from keyboard warriors out there, every step of the way John was correct with all his advice to get it straightened out. 100% recommend

John did great work with my tune for a fair price. Took on a complex setup, 6.0L cammed LS with a Terminator X and a 6l80 trans controlled by TCM-2650. The Terminator X was tuned with Holley software, transmission tuned with HPtuner, TCM with PCS software. He was able to get it all working and communicating together. Runs and drives great!

I called and showed up for a tune and John went above and beyond, helping me diagnose and repair an oil leak and some bad grounds.Once those issues were resolved he spent a day with my truck tuning. I have a hard time finding mechanics for my H2 - especially ones who know what they're doing or that I feel I can trust. I have four not-so-everyday cars so I think I can speak from at least a little experience. I ended up going to my go-to for my TransAm and had him tune my 2003 H2 this past week, put in new knock sensors and harness, new gaskets, close up an exhaust manifold leak (the easy way - although he'd beg to differ) and tune up. He did an excellent job. Took his time and got to learn a little about the truck. He primarily does street race/race cars and I just want to give him a plug and hopefully help someone out. Now I had my H2 tuned for power, not for gas mileage. If after driving it for a bit I have any issues, he's told me to just bring it back and he'll adjust the tune. We took it out tonight and it drives like a different, much stronger vehicle...and we stopped and did a little more tuning during our trip. Anyway - he's John at Roastin Performance LLC in Rockledge, FL. I was a small business owner for a bit and know how important it is to get the word out that a business did you right. Thanks, John! I'm beyond happy with the results.

The only complaint I'd have about John is just how over qualified he is. Seriously though don't waist your time going anywhere else, John has to be one of the top tuners around. He's a mechanical engineer who used to reverse engineer engines. I mean this guy has a serious fundamental understanding of what he is doing. What ever needs you may have, John will definitely help you out or steer you in the right direction with your tuning questions. Thanks John!

*Long term review* I had my truck tuned by John about 3 years ago now. The results speak for itself. I have a 05 Silverado 5.3l that’s cammed with long tubes. It gets better gas mileage than it did stock, and it is so much fun to drive. Absolutely no drive ability issues whatsoever. If you’re looking for a good quality tune don’t waste time with anyone else.

John was awesome. Couldn’t believe the amount of knowledge he has. Did a tune on my 2014 Silverado transmission and engine. Have a 6 inch lift with 35s and it brought the truck to life. Was sluggish and slow to accelerate before and now it gets up and goes. Also towing my 21ft mako is so much better. Can’t say enough good things. Thank you.
