Jim has a radio show called Catch a memory outdoors on Saturday mornings at 7am eastern time. He has some really good nuggets to share. Hiring a professional guide is well worth the investment. Him and his son Justin are really good at what they do. They are worth a 5 star rating. Go fishing with them and catch some memories with your family.

Booked a last-minute half day trip, and it was OUTSTANDING! Justin was very knowledgeable and great with my 5 yr old and 7 yr old. Caught fish the entire time and had a chance to explore the mangroves of Florida. Highly recommend!!! BOOK IT.

Have been fishing with Capt. Jim and his son Capt. Justin for several years now. Today Capt. Jim and I went out and we were successful with triple tail even caught one weighing 15 pounds and yes it was teamwork, he and I. He is so professional and patient. I learn things from him each and every time I fish with him. I recommend him and his son highly. Pick the best - Fineline Fishing !!

Captain Justin did a great job and was quite knowledgeable. The water wasn't really cooperating but Justin was still able to get us into some good fish. Will definitely book with him again.

Terrific day on the water with Captain Jim Ross with my DIL Leslie. The first catch of the day went to her, and me! This beautiful tripletail busted down on BOTH of our rigs at the SAME TIME! We thought we had a double hookup, and we were working hard to keep our lines apart so they didn't tangle. Imagine our surprise when we boated one fish with two hooks. Our fabulous guide, Capt. Jim Ross said he had never seen that happen. Oh, and he also put us into a wicked school of snook, my first ever. Snook two was bigger than snook one. Really wonderful day fishing offshore Cape Canaveral. Could not want more from a fishing guide, Capt. Jim moved with the grace and confidence of a man who knows what he is doing. Pristine boat, gear, well prepared.

We had a great experience with Jim Ross at Fineline Fishing Charters! Despite having to cancel multiple times due to weather, he persevered in finding a good date for us and helped us catch two beautiful Tripletail and a variety of other nearshore species. His expertise and dedication to making sure we had a successful trip were evident throughout the entire experience. I believe that without his guidance, we could have very well gone home empty handed. I highly recommend Jim and Fineline for your next fishing adventure!

Captain Jim was great and the boat was super clean and nice...
He let us know ahead of time that he was not sure what we would get because of environmental conditions that impacted fishing negatively.
We caught several fish while other Captains he talked to on the radio had not had a good day.
It was really great and he found ways to find the fish and help make sure everyone of us caught fish..
All-in-All.. It was a great day for us..

My wife and I had an epic half day trip with Captain Jim Ross. We caught 16 BIG Snook and a Redfish. This was our second fishing charter with him and he is the best guide that we have ever had!

Captain Jim had us on a hot snook bite! We are Cocoa Beach locals who are no stranger to rod and reel but still had a lifetime experience ! We’ll be back !
