I just came to the ER. From the moment I walked in I felt heard and cared for. Frannie, a nurse in the ER is heaven sent. Her kindness, care, attentiveness, and positive attitude made the whole experience much tolerable despite the pain ???

I am really happy and impressed by the service and professionalism, a few people not doing their job here very well won’t change my opinion out of so many people here every day taking care of us…. I encourage vets that have a negative experience to share that with the right department so they can improve the mistakes since we are all human beings and not perfect… love this great place that is being a blessing for me.

1 star, not for the care provided but because the VA West Palm Beach cares more about saving money than servicing the patient. Multiple times I have tried to make an appointment and it was out far enough to were I "qualify" to be see by an outside provider, the next day after requesting an outside provider they ALWAYS call trying to give me the throwaway appointments that are horrible times. noon on a Friday, 330pm on a Friday... and 7pm? most recent I try to get an appointment, they say the next one is in august, 4 MONTHS away, I say i want to see an outside provider so they say outsider scheduler will call, next day comes and they are offering me a 330 appointment on a FRIDAY, and it doesn't work for me, I have SEVERE PTSD and don't do insane busy times with an HOUR drive time each way, So like the day before I say.. no... I want to be seen on the outside, they say "well you wont be able to qualify to be seen on the outside because we offered you this appointment" 330 on a FRIDAY the only throwaway appointment they have and I cant do it so I don't qualify for outside care! another time they say next crown appointment over 3 months out, so we will refer you out,,, NEXT DAY they call and offer a Friday appointment that didn't work for me AGAIN!...... THE VA ONLY CARES ABOUT NOT SPENDING MONEY. Hopefully the Veteran dies so they don't have to pay medical care, that's their philosophy. In Washington state they had NO PROBLEM referring me to an outside provider.With billions given to foreign countries and wars we shouldn't be involved in along with paying for illegals, you would think that veterans would be treated at least better than illegals, but no... I'll go off and die now *VA high fives each other*

recent contact with va medical center, riveria beach fl reached appointment scheduling, alan, super special in communication, took his time, no rush (as with many entities) dersribed my needs, he checked records and was able to resolve the matter, he is courteous, knowledgeable, knows his job criteria. speaks clearly kindly notify him of this eview and place it in his personnel filebill newell

I've been a patient here for 16 years and this is an excellent facility. They have treated me with respect and compassion. I recommend this hospital to all veterans.

Yesterday my husband went to the emergency room. He was treated by nurse Franny and Dr. Pendant. The care he was given was superior kind understanding empathetic and professional. If you're a veteran and have had less than good service at a VA center I definitely recommend West Palm Beach VA medical center

I don't want to go to the VA anymore because the first time I went they baker acted me into the psycheward for 9 days so now I have to talk myself into going there whenever I have appointments but more often than not I just don't go. There solution? Threaten me with police coming to my house and baker acting me again. makes sense.

I hate it here so much , I was in a car accident went to ER , the Er sent me to urgent care , the gentleman at the Urgent Care said no you're not supposed to be here you're supposed to be on the 9th floor I go to the 9th floor they say know you're supposed to be in the woman's clinic I walked down to the woman's clinic and they said no you're supposed to be on the 9th floor I go back up to the 9th floor for a very nice lady named Margaret to finally help methank God for her. I didn't see a doctor revello who clearly could care less to be seeing patients.so I go xray and was told at 10:00 are not taking walk-in x-rays and that they can see me on April the 1st it's the 20th of March. So I go and find a patient advocate who walks me back over there and was able to get me the x-rays in 3 minutes thank God for him too . So the doctor has me do X-rays and then sends me home with no results so you know my wrist might be broken and it's just go home and deal with it I'll call you I still haven't heard anything I leave two messages for the patient advocate and for the director and still hasn't heard back from anybody and now today is the 21st still don't have any clarification on my results it's not on my healthy vet and it hasn't even been read yet honestly just close down I could get better care in a 3rd world like what are yall doing you guys do not care about patients at al I wish I could give minus zeros stars. P.s I'm still waiting today as of 2:57pm. Update 4:54 still no results called director she took my number and never called....Lastly don't write me and say I'm sorry and too reach out too you patient advocate cause I called them twice an left messages, you wanna help ,REALLY MAKE CHANGES call people back, SHOW YOU CARE I'm still waiting on directors call

I went in on march 20th 2024 due to a car accident , i went to an EMPTY ER got vitals and told I need to go to UC A1 I walked there and was told "why would they send you here and go to 9B, i went to 9B and was sent down to the womens clonic who than sent me back up to 9 B so now im pissed ... I dealt with Margaret a true and very rare gem who said i will figure this bout for you.....fast forward im seen for all of 3 mins and ordered x rays so i go to xray and was told they are NOT talking wak ins mind you it 10:30 am and i was offered 4/1/2024 again accident my head and wrist hurting but offered 2 weeks later.....I than go to a patient advocate another true gem at the VA Mr Rollins very nice man, who magically got me in within 3 minutes of him talking too them ....... ok so i get x rays and told to GO home YES you heard write maybe your wrist is broke but go home and if it broke we will call you back in ..... 2 days later a number of calls to VA as nurse line i go my results 2 says later by the front desk stafff not a nurse or MD .... now again mind you i left a nuer of message for call back and yesterday got a my healthevet message from melissa who said i was called and i told the nurse i was in a meeting ' I ALMOST LOST IT i said what meeting im on vacation the whole week from my job due to spring back and that nurse is clearly a LIAR i demanded that nurses name and was never written back ..... if you lie about that image what you alll lie about on the daily .....i also left a message with patient adovocates x 2 no call back , one for director who picked uoi took my number and never called back ....this place is worse than the health dept and honestly should just close you guysa dont care about patients

My boyfriend is a army veteran and has asthma and we come here quite frequently and the nurses and doctors ALWAYS take good care of him, on top of that the facility is VERY clean. this place is truely a blessing.

This place is literally useless. I get false hope a lot here with promises of help but nothing happens.I'm just going to cancel all but what I think I need because I don't want to be here at all, as if I would want to come here regularly. This place is hostile.

The lack of care in the ER staff is shameful. Sticking a sick person in a room and expecting them to stay there for several hours without water, tissues, a blanket or pillow is just wild. When I went up front finally to complain after asking multiple times for those items they legitimately brought me to a side door and showed me out! It was 11pm and I was terribly sick (with what ended up being pneumonia) and they just told me to have a good night. They should all be terminated, it was shocking and very sad.I changed this review from an original 1 star to a 4 because they reached out and apologized for the experience. To me that matters, the whole experience felt like a lack of caring and empathy and the dept head that just called has made me feel much better about what they do and emphasize in training. We all have bad days.
