There are def things that need to be fixed with the company, like any company. Reading all these reviews, I believe communication needs to be improved at the port. BUT I’m hear to highlight the amazing work of dispatching. Specially Danny, Dennis, Nick, and Katie. Nick also has been in importing as well worked at the port. So he’s well rounded, And I’m blown away by his knowledge and willingness to help anyone. My family’s shipping needs have been handled with great care and explained with much detail. Thank you dispatchers for doing your best to help the truckers get their deliveries and thank you specifically Nick for going above and beyond as always.

Drove 2.5 hours to drop a vehicle and they turned me around saying they close at 3:00pm when it clearly say 4:00

The people who work at this company are always closed. You can't deliver the packages. The guy comes out angry. The security guard only tells you that it's always closed and that if you don't go, he will call the police.

if you’ve never shipped anything, you definitely wanna talk to these people and figure out what’s going on first.
Don’t be like me and think I’m gonna roll down to the port and load my equipment ???
I’m moving all my equipment to St. Croix USVI so of course Tropical shipping is the first place you have to go.
Thing is if you’ve never done this before it’s a eye-opener in some cases, jaw dropper, especially when you get a bill that’s a lot more than what you thought it was gonna be.
But with that said the sales agent,

customer service agent,
Mr. Earl Hollis sr
Were Rockstars in helping me to get my issues worked out which were many lol???????????????????
even the guys at the port who check your stuff in were Rockstars to me they helped me figure out stuff they talk to me about what I was doing. Everybody seem to care or was at least engaging.
I still have a lot more stuff to move and doing business with these people and I’m hoping with this great review that I get special rates from now on hint, hint, hint???
Thank you, Tropical shipping for all your help in this endeavor. I highly recommend these people, especially talking to them before you crash dummy in for landing.!
