If you look like anyone from the cast of The Color Purple, you will be automatically profiled. According to management they provide baskets to carry your items around upon request. Almost half a decade of shopping here and that was news to me. Be safe out there ladies.

I went there on Easter Sunday with my two grand daughters and made a purchase at the counter. When one of my granddaughter's exited the detectors, it beeped at her and she had nothing in her hands. The guy insisted she comes to the back of the store and "empty her pockets so he can make sure" I took her back there, because I knew she didn't have anything and allowed her to empty her pockets. She pulled out a little wallet, a lip gloss she had from home (that wasn't even sold in their store) and a small nail kit. He asked to take the lip gloss and scan it, I stated that that wasn't necessary as it is hers from home and isn't even sold in his store and he kept insisting to scan it to desensitize it. I let him do it, because I just wanted to get my granddaughter out of that situation. My granddaughter is 8 years old, was accused of stealing, and had to empty her pockets to prove she wasn't stealing even though she was in the store with an adult who was supervising her as well as making a purchase. This is not my first encounter at this store, that has made me feel uncomfortable and profiled as a patron. I thought maybe I was being dramatic, but after this encounter I know this is how this owner operates his business and I will not be back.

DO NOT GO HERE! Their store smells absolutely disgusting. They will try to negotiate with you to sell you hair that smells like the fish odor of the store just to get the sale. They are rude and bad business owners. Many other beauty supply stores to go to. NOT HERE!

On 04/16/2022 after I purchased 2 items totaling $4.79 I proceeded to tell the cashier I don’t need a bag or receipt (proof on Apple Pay). As I’m leaving the facility, the makeshift security device at the door starts beeping. One of the workers told me “go back he needs to scan it” as if the cashier hadn’t already done so. Being compliant, I went back, let the cashier give me a bag and as i walked towards the door again, the device beeped AGAIN . Then, the guy who stopped me before stopped me again, made FALSE ACCUSATIONS that I was STEALING, told me that something was in my purse, & told me to give him my purse so he can check it. He got my purse and swung it inside of the security device and there was no beeping.. As LAW ENFORCEMENT , I know my rights were violated and I was HUMILIATED in front of several people for no reason! I was racially profiled & even followed out to my car. This is a POOR & UNSANITARY establishment that will NEVER get another dollar out of me. And please believe that I will be pressing the issue for the way I was treated!

Great customer service! The best beauty supply store in the area. There prices and products are by far the most cost efficient. The store is also joined with a grocery market! So convenient it’s like hitting 2 birds with one stone.
