The assistant manager at this location is rude and clearly does not understand the components of customer service. I should not have to argue with someone in order for them to do their job. If you do not know how to do your job then you should not be in a leadership position end of story. Good communication skills and respect plays a key role in taking care of your clients. The general manager Steve unfortunately is not always present, however he understands the concept of treating his customers with respect. He knows how to communicate and apologize regarding the incorrect size of tires being shipped, which delayed my installation and created an inconvenience in my travel plans. The mechanics did a great job and I thank them for their tire and brake services. However, I will never do business with this establishment ever again.

Walked in Saturday morning, was greeted by Melissa, asked her for help with a patch repair on a tire. She was nothing less than 110%. She got me in right away, and we replaced a faulty TPMS sensor the same time. Super service from Melissa and the Staff. Thank You For Your Kindness, and assisting me.

Just had my tire patched from a leaky old plug. Alex was very helpful and I’m grateful his team took care of my issue. They took the time to reprogram my car tires since they were previously rotated and we realized it may be another tire than the one registering, which was the issue. They did a great job, I will choose them moving forward with my tire needs. Thank you again!

I was trying to change headlight on my wife’s Hyundai Sonata and was having issues with getting the clip off. I called Mavis on Big Bend (formerly Tuffy’s) and spoke to Steve if he could replace it. He said come on in and we can look at it. I arrived and asked for Steve and he was able to have the job done within 15 minutes. Steve is a great asset to Mavis and his staff is friendly and helpful. It’s hard to find a shop where you feel comfortable with and Steve displays that. Thanks again Steve!

Bryan at Mavis was EXTREMELY helpful. Saved me a lot of money on getting work done on my car I didn't needed. Was very straight, more helpful than the dealership I bought my car from. I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic service as usual! Mavis tires and brakes on Big Bend has been the friendliest, most helpful location and this is the third time I've been to their location. Consistently fantastic service and clean. Bryan was especially helpful who went above and beyond by putting our repaired tire back on the car We had just brought the tire in for a repair but when we were rolling it out to our car and getting out the jack, Bryan stopped and offered to put it on for us at no charge. It's been a long time since I've found any other car service place that had such helpful, friendly staff like Bryan. Big 5 Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ thumbs up to Bryan!
