This is about spectrum not any certain store. I live in florida and when storm Milton hit us in October. I was without internet and tv for 9 days i called and tried to chat numerous times and they would send emails that my service was down and they were working on it to fix it. I had electric i just didnt have spectrum. My neighbors all had their spectrum in 5 days when they got their power back their spectrum was also restored. I called after it came back because they sent me a text that i was credited $19.00. That’s like 3 days so a representative said they would put in a ticket for the other days and that i would be notified on the results. Ticket was entered oct 30. Today Nov. 8, th i still haven’t heard anything i called and my ticket is still open and the very rude lady in Colorado said that i wont get a penny. More off that it’s still open but my credit is $19 no matter how long i was without service. So i have to pay 6 days when i didnt have any service and no one even called me back to tell me about the results when they looked into the ticket. Bad customer service spectrum very bad!!!!!!

Spectrum has the worse internet service. Go with Frontier or another service. I’m being charged $100,each tenant at Oasis at Brandon has recently been increased to $110

This company has had me on the phone for 3 hours. And this was headquarters I was talking to. This company is absolutely a bunch of liars! Spoke to a supervisor by the name of Danny. He wasted an hour of my time and then head to audacity to ask me would you like to pay your bill today? After I have explained to him that you have given my office staff that's been trying to get the phone back on. For 3 and 1/2 Weeks internet back up and running for 3 and 1/2 Weeks. Waste my time for 2 and 1/2 hours! To get absolutely nowhere I see why you have a 2 point 3 rating or whatever it is this company is horrible I wouldn't suggest doing any business with this company ever..... And I always ask Google where is the zero? Because a one-star is too high of a rating!!!!!

I made the mistake of signing up for spectrum internet. I cancelled after 3 days because the equipment that was provided to me was faulty or their service in my area just plain sucks. The internet would only work for 30 minutes at a time, after which the router and modem would need to be restarted. Spectrum sent out 2 techs to “fix” my internet which worked for about 2 hours until it needed to be restarted. At that point, I called spectrum to terminate my service and brought back the equipment. Tell me why these idiots are trying to charge me for a FULL MONTH of service, when I did not even have working internet for a FULL 24 HOURS?! This isn’t my first issue with spectrum. I had them previously and the service sucked then, but I moved and noticed majority of my neighbors had spectrum, so I tried them again. STEER CLEAR FROM THIS INTERNET PROVIDER. I got better service from my own cellphone’s hotspot. This company is a joke and scams their customers.

I've been using their internet and phone services for two years, mainly because they were the only provider available in the 33716 area. I just called to inform them that I'm moving out of state and will be canceling the service on October 1st, giving them 25 days' notice. They're telling me I'll be charged for the full month on the 12th, with no refund for the extra two weeks. I've never experienced this kind of billing trap with any other service providers.
Also, their billing increased by $20 each year. Their mobile service is awful, with almost no signal most of the time. I’ll be canceling both services on the 30th.

Since my mother couldn't afford spectrum cable anymore on a fixed income, we called today to cancel it which was scheduled for the end of her billing period. That gave her time to watch anything on the dvr before she lost access. In the middle of watching TV about 1/2 hour after talking with them, she lost access to spectrum with a message appearing to call them to restore or activate services.

Spectrum doesn’t want you to be loyal. It’s best to find a better replacement internet… AND THEN YO-YO between the two as spectrum has no respect for loyal customers. Been with them for 10 years now they want to confidently charge my wife and I $100/month when “new” members could get the SAME service for $50? I’ll see you next year spectrum! Toodles.

In the store they treat you well but personally when you talk on the phone it is disrespectful they always lie to you they cheated me out of 50 dollars a representative deceived me like a girl who gives her a toy and after half counting they act innocent Spectrum is like talking with a devil but unfortunately it is a company that I recognize that the internet service is the best

I've been without internet for 2.5 days now, and Spectrum has been nothing but a nightmare to deal with. They’ve rescheduled me three times after setting up two prior appointments and failing to send anyone out. Each time, they didn’t bother to call or show up. They simply set the appointments and then left me hanging.
Their excuse? We live in a gated community and they didn’t have access to the gate code. An easy solution would be to CALL THE CUSTOMER! I explicitly told them to call me all three times, yet no technician ever did. They just left without any communication.
This level of incompetence and unprofessionalism is unacceptable. If you're considering Spectrum, save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. They clearly don’t value their customers' time or needs.

I’ve been with spectrum over a year now for mobile, internet, and cable. I left my previous provider begrudgingly when they were bought out after 20 years of being a customer so it was a tough decision for me. I didn’t know what to expect. Well, a year later and a SIGNIFICANTLY lower monthly bill, and my service is the best it has ever been. I’m very grateful I made the switch. Well worth it and my service works everywhere!

Stopped at the Spectrum Riverview location to get help for my elderly Dad with his phone service. The first thing I noticed is the lack of a sense of urgency or “lackluster” customer service of 2 of the 4 employees. While the lobby was full they had no one at their stations nor appeared to be working on their computers or a phone. I listened as another employee tried to upsell a phone to an elderly person who clearly was telling the employee they couldn’t afford the extra charges. After waiting quite some time I asked an employee where were they in the order of walk-ins. He said, I’m at Leila. Well…he called her and no one came up. Then he called the next…no one came up. Then he called the person ahead of my Dad and the other employee called my Dad. They were not calling anyone until I walked up and hadn’t called anyone for quite some time. The employee assisting my Dad was not courteous or friendly. In fact, he didn’t appear to want to be bothered to help my Dad or to explain any options to my dad regarding his lost phone. Just gave him a dollar amount. Short and not so sweet. I will encourage him to take his business elsewhere. Spectrum is not the cheapest game in town. They also lack the legendary customer service that can be found in other companies and that would be worth paying the extra for. We would definitely not recommend the Riverview Spectrum location or the company. The store is in a high trafficked and area of congestion. The parking is basically limited to on the side and depth of the building due to congestion of traffic in locale. Clean store. Seating is not ergonomically friendly and when there’s not enough staffing for the staff to customer ration based on efficiency it makes the wait very uncomfortable. Don’t waste your time or money on Spectrum. And, accompany your elderly loved ones as they’ll take advantage of them.
