Ms. Corletta is AMAZING! This is hands down the best salon I have been too. She is super fast and even though I wasn’t her only client I wasn’t in there all day! She got me in and out and did a great job. I will most definitely be back.

Yassssss, I would definitely recommend this woman of God and fashionista, Corletta! First and foremost, she fixed my hair and got my cut looking right. Then, everything she says just works for me, from the line of products I purchased from her to the pin curls she told me to set in my hair at night. I am super excited that I found her!

I simply love everything about this salon! The stylist, decor, and warm feeling I get when I'm there. It's clean, cozy, and comfortable. It's the perfect space or size, not overwhelmingly large and not too small. I enjoy great conversations. I sit in the chair and let my hair stylist have her way. She's that good! She learns her clients and is able to deliver exactly what fits them. She not only provides hair styles, she also provides hair care. I've gone to my stylist for 20 plus years and I'm still very satified! She understands my hair and guides me on ideas and hair care specific to my hair type. Both stylists are great and work well with eachother. They treat me like family. 5 stars from me!!!

I love coming to get my hair done at Shades of Essence. I love Nikki, Corelatta and Charmaine. They style your hair to fit your style while ensuring it remains healthy. I leave the salon, like tonight, feeling confident and beautiful. Prices are excellent. Conversation and advice is abundant between the stylists and clients.

I absolutely love this place. The place is amazing!! It’s truly a one stop shop they have amazing handbags and accessories for any and every event. It’s always clean and everyone is respectful. My hairstylist Corletta the owner is always super sweet and very accommodating. Not only is she down to earth she is a great listener and really understands what her clients want. She has transformed my hair for the best and I couldn't be happier. I can’t see myself ever going anywhere else!!
