I wasn’t feeling well today. I Sent my 12 yr old daughter in with $15.00 for Jam and two packs of rubber bands. Which the receipt stated $10.72. My daughter came back to the truck with .38 cents. I went in to address the theft from a minor. They refused to reimburse my money. It’s the principle of taking money from a child. Very bad business move.

I must admit, this store has many different items which is why my daughter wanted to go there for her hair supply needs. However, I will not be returning here and I highly encourage you to stay clear if you want to be treated with human decency and kind customer service...During our visit, my 8 year old son had interest in items also. As he looked through the shelves picking out hair color while we were on the same aisle he "organized" them back into what he thought it should be (the items were color coded but farther back from the front of the shelf). As we tried to determine what moisturizer we would get, and as I started to make a deal with my son in exchange for a hair color, a male store clerk walked by us and decided to go over and "rearrange" what my son did. (He/they were watching us on camera). This clerk did not say anything to us, my son said "I wanted the blue one" to the clerk and the clerk ignored him. As the clerk organized the shelf, my son says, "I just did that" to the clerk and this rude, ignorant clerk still did not respond. I told my son to stay away from the color and from the clerk. My spirit told me to leave the store but I was there for my daughter so I stayed. My son found other interest in sunglasses. He was trying them on and putting them back on the rack. He would turn to me and I would say, "not that one or I like that one" every so often as he attempted to look into the mirror. Suddenly, as the clerk is literally checking out other customers, he looks at my son and aggressively says something along with "stop". My daughter says "what"? The clerk says "same thing". I say, "same thing, what? What is the same thing?" My daughter says "he can't touch the sunglasses?" A female clerk says, its not that he can't touch the sunglasses, he is not putting them back. (My son is literally putting these glasses back on the rack, on the hook). I say, "well say that then. I am not going to make assumptions about what you are trying to say, he is putting them back". I give my daughter the items in my hand, take my son by his hand to leave as he asks with sadness and confusion, "what did I do wrong?", I clearly state, "you did nothing wrong son." My daughter puts about $100+ worth of items down and leaves behind me.I will not subject my son to that treatment. I should have left initially. My issue is with the lack of communication or clarity. If kids are not welcome or are not allowed to touch things, it can be said. I am not an unpleasant person. There is no need to be passive aggresive or ignore a child or adult for that matter. Would my son or I have been wrong if we ignored the clerk just like he ignored us? I am aware that cameras are used for the protection of store owners however they are not for passive aggressive attempts to bully kids or make customers feel unwelcomed. We will not return and will gladly go elsewhere.

Just left this store usually it's ok however I can't stand a store that hires African Americans but when they come in the store they're constantly viewing the camera...only when the Arab is in the store I see this so I rather drive to the palm river store where the Arab employees are much more friendly and welcoming to all....this store needs to stop being this way because the African Americans are who they hire and who made the store what it is today....
