Ordered a cake for my daughter’s birthday and picked out a cake design from their design book. Picked it up & it was just a plain cake from the back with some sprinkles thrown on top. Not the design I ordered. Called and was never given a reason as to what happened. Customer service was kind and they reimbursed me, but the cake was a big disappointment. The party was that afternoon so I had no time to change it. I expect better from the Publix brand and I recommend buying a cake on sight, not ordering in advance. Photos show the design I ordered and what I got.

This Publix has gone so downhill with their service. I live close by and have been coming here since they opened in 2016. I can shop anywhere but I choose Publix for their service despite their higher costs of everything. The cashiers are teenagers who don’t say a word to you but instead talk to their friend who’s bagging the whole time. It makes you feel like you’re a third wheel while you wait to pay. When you order a sub online and there’s an estimated time, you’d think it would be ready by or before that time. More often than not I show up 5-10 minutes past that time and my sandwich is still not ready. This has happened on numerous occasions when they were not backed up with customers and I had to ask for help instead. This Publix needs new management and they need to fix some of their departments or else it will continue to decline. I’d rather go to Walmart at this point because if I get the same service, at least I’ll save money.

I purchased 8 piece box of fried chicken...it was terrible.
1) thighs were just the JOINTS no thighs attached..no meat only breading and it was burned
2) all was over cooked and meat under the burned breading was overcooked and burned
3) the chicken pieces were
smaller than KFC...PATHETIC

40 min for 2 sandwiches. That’s so ridiculous!!!!! Workers don’t care about costumers and managers care less. Worst place to get a sandwich.

Truly the worst Publix in the Tampa Bay Area. Every single person who works here from the deli, bakery, even the cashiers, all work with no sense of urgency at all. But the one person who prompted this review- her name is Arlene from the deli department. Terrible service, extremely slow, has nothing prepped on her station even the items featured on THE MENU aren’t prepped and ready to sell. In the 22 minutes it took for her to build my sandwich the department itself could’ve sold 10 other sandwiches. The only acceptable reason for her walking THAT slow is if she just had surgery on both feet. Time to clean house Publix.
