I had asi and progressive bought the company. After almost 12 years with no claims at all and lots of rate increases they sent me a non renewal letter stating they were getting away from hurricane coverage. I cancelled after finding another company. I was stunned that they would not renew when I paid my policy in full each year and they never paid me a single penny. Bad business practices I think. I will . Stay away from them.

I don't like Progressive because they change the policy price every time.
They like stealing people.

Been with progressive since 2013 but I regret every dollar I gave them. Without my permission they added 2 random people (without my permission) to my auto insurance. I paid $3439 extra in the past year and they won't refund me that money. Underwriting team is rude and won't give me someone that can help.

I had one-way insurance coverage. My car was broken. Progress didn't help me. I bought their insurance in vain. I don't advise anyone to sign a contract with this insurance company. irresponsible and scammers. this is my personal experience. I wish everyone safe driving

They seemed like an ok company until I needed them. When I needed them, they did NOT help me. They are not cheap, so I expect and deserve better. If I pay a premium price, I should get premium customer service. Also, even though I never made a claim, they kept raising their rates by ridiculous amounts. Finally, they are trying to cover-up a year-long data breach that impacted over 300,000 customers. They have no information on their web page about what to do because of the data breach. If you call the employees don't even know there was a data breach and have no idea how to help you. I have paperless billing but I never got an email, text, or phone call about the data breach. They just dismiss you, even though you have been a paying customer with no claims for several years. Well, you're fired Progressive! You need to do a better job for the rates you are charging. I found that both State Farm and Geico were cheaper with even more coverage.

I am sure we all know that insurance is a racket. But I will let you know my experiences with them. With my car insurance I had previously, they raised my rate every single 6 months - with no accidents or tickets - until I finally canceled and went with a different provider. And recently I was backing out of a spot here in Florida when one of their customers comes flying out of nowhere which caused an accident. I did not have time to move due to her flying & trying to squeeze past me with no space. Then they refuse to cover my car saying it could not be proven in court or without cameras or a police report, which you cannot get in a private parking lot.I also have a current homeowner's insurance policy with them which I am now canceling effective immediately after these experiences. So good job Progressive. You saved yourself a couple of hundred dollars by not fixing my car, but now you are going to lose out on a recurring $1000 a year homeowner's policy.

Don't every use progressive, not 3 weeks ago I start a policy with them, after 3 weeks they cancel my policy without let me know, According to them the downpayment never went through which I was never informed of and would of been able to fix easily. Then when I call about 10 min after getting a notice from the app I was told the down payment would now be 200 more and monthly payments 100 more. Why cant you restate the same policy

A racist individual like Trina Johnson should not be working for such a reputable company!

Quyntrell or Q, should be the example how to think and problem solve while listening. There should be a place where we value customer service agents and the good one get put into a que for all the compaines that are head hunting for quality employees have a place to shop. That way the cream rises to the top of the pay scale...thats how it could be a better system..imo

So yesterday I called to ask how to return the snap shot. Based on my "hard breaking" they increased my rate by $400. I am a veteran with PTSD, guess what, I'd rather brake hard than crash because of the bad drivers around me! So they start quoting me and telling me I will be charged 1043 up front for 6 months. Then I ask what my monthly payment would be, he quoted me 174 then realized he did the math wrong and stated my monthly would be 245! They had me at a cheaper rate 5 months ago. Then the not so great agent starts talking up the Loyalty Program and when I asked him more his only poorly trained response was "so many great things" but he would not explain it. At the end of the call and going in circles with the agent who could not give me a proper quote I told him I would be shopping around and not be renewing with Progressive. I stated I wanted him to NOT move forward with payments. He said ok and then I started getting emails and text blasts about signing my documents for renewal - multiple. I had to call in and tell them NO I DO NOT WISH TO RENEW again and had to speak to a supervisor. It irks me that they think they can increase rates while others are not and then try to blame the bad drivers around me for my increased rates. BS. Always trying to sell more in some shape or form. You lost this veteran as a "Loyal customer" so sad I will miss out on all those "great things" you promised! Too bad, same or lower rates isn't apart of those "great things". State Farm has my business!
