“This is the only hotel we’ve ever stayed in that the entire room was spotless! I usually Clorox wipe it all and couldn’t even find any dust! Well kept hotel.
Do wish with only a small number of guests staying they’d give the better views side of the hotel instead of the giant parking lot.”

“Alicia, can clean a bathroom. That was the best smelling women’s bathroom in all of Tampa. I walked in and you can tell she took her time moping and cleaning and everything was to a t, strange review but, sometimes is the little things that make a hotel, and she was working hard.”

“It's nice. Mostly new, big TV, nice beds, big bathroom, nice staff, big continental breakfast. No vending machines forcing you to buy at the front counter. Prices are ridiculous on those things. Elevator is creaky. Hotel is a pian to get to but the Hotel itself is nice”

“We booked this for the night before our cruise. Everything was great. We walked to our restaurant from there that night. We ate there the next morning. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. My husband pigged out!! We left our vehicle in their immediate parking garage while we were on our cruise. Really great place!!! Super convenient too! I will definitely be back.”

“We stayed for one night at the Westin. We stayed at 4 different Tampa Marriott properties in 4 nights and this was by FAR the best stay. The bed and linens were so comfortable, I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The room was clean and had a nice view. The hotel employees were all wonderful, cherry and helpful. The bathroom could use an update but it was clean (and very large!) and that's really all I cared about. The pool was out of service due to Helene, but that was ok.
The Hotel is in a great area, with nice restaurants nearby and a close walk to downtown. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!”

“The hotel itself was clean and everyone was nice. However, the rooms have those hotel thin walls and you can bear everything and everyone! The breakfast was good!!! I dislike hotel breakfast as most of the time the items are old or cheap, but their breakfast was rather good. The pillows were not very comfortable, and the bed was just ok.”

“We arrived at the hotel worn out and ready for a well deserved break. Ronnie at the front desk was wonderful! She told us about placed ti eat and things to do. What great customer service! The room was perfect and right next to Starz Theater, where we walked over to see a performance. The next morning the hotel had a free shuttle to anywhere within 2 miles. We got dropped off at the free trolly, then later took a water taxi, at one price for the whole day. We stayed on for two trips around the area. What a great day!

“I did not officially stay here, I unfortunately had car issues and had to pull into parking lot and wait for a tow. I walked in front lobby to advise front desk and apologize. Tee was amazing with her smile and attitude even though I was not staying she was so nice and helpful (even kept eye on car when I was gone) if I was needing to stay anywhere I would pick there because of her and her amazing service.”

“This is my "go-to" hotel when I work in Tampa. It is like a mini resort with a nice pool area and an adjoining Latin restaurant with good food. It's near I-75 and very convenient.I have been staying here since 2007 and it has only got better with the renovation a few years ago. The rooms are spacious and clean. The water pressure and a/c are great. They did not cut corners on the reno.What really sets this location apart is that one is greeted by attractive, professional and competent women at the front desk who allow early access without any problem. It is very much appreciated since my schedule is different than most. Keep up the good work ladies!”

“Just a 1 night stay for an event we attended. I’ve been to a few HGI. Some are fancy some are average. This one is average, but overall served its purpose.
It’s located in a historic district of Tampa so you have a lot of restaurants within walking distance. The Trolley even comes by the hotel if you wanted to jump on that. Roosters and chickens all throughout the streets (I feel like I’m in the Keys). So location is good. We’ve had little interaction with staff cause I’ve done everything through the app, but they’ve seemed friendly. Price of course is as it’s “fancy” but overall it didn’t disappoint. Pet friendly. Parking is extra…boo!”

“The staff here are the nicest and friendliest people I have ever met at a hotel. They went above and beyond to help us feel at home while we were here bc our house was being repaired. Rooms are a little outdated but they were very clean. If I ever had to stay in brandon again I would stay here for the customer service and cleanliness.Food & drinks: Free breakfast was delicious and they had healthy options as well.”

The well-maintained grounds, particularly the pool and serene garden area, were a highlight, despite their proximity to the parking lot. While the rooms were adequate, it's worth noting that breakfast was not included. However, the establishment did offer a pleasant bar area for guests to enjoy evening cocktails.”
“This is my go too hotel and what’s become my home away from home when I come too Tampa. I travel for work a lot and I’m in this area several times a month. It’s affordable, check in is alway easy, beds are comfortable, hot hot water, ac works wonders & the rooms are clean ( in fact it’s the only motel where I had to complain a little that my room was a little too clean lol). The staff is helpful, one of the employees Jose saved the day one weekend when Expedia screwed up my reservation. He went out of his way to get me a room. It’s surrounded by plenty of good affordable food including an all you can eat sushi. And I found it’s only 20-30 minutes from most things in Tampa. I hate staying somewhere else when I come to Tampa. Highly recommend”
“Absolutely the best staff from the front desk to housekeeping. I love the high ceilings. We stayed for 2 months and it was without a doubt the best hotel we've stayed in and we have stayed in a lot of places the past 9 months. What a relief that it was the only place that had no roaches.”

“Great location for a hotel. The attached restaurant is not worth it but their staff are friendly. Hotel staff were efficient without being too friendly. The location is great and allowed us to walk around downtown and return to a pleasant respite. I would probably look at a more updated hotel at this price but I've stayed in worse in Tampa.”
