Staff should be friendly to all customers and not be selective in their interactions. A female employee was conversing with patrons before and after me but did not acknowledge my greeting, make eye contact, or offer any pleasantries. However, she greeted the customers behind me without hesitation. This behavior suggests a bias based on my appearance, which is unacceptable. Such conduct is highly inappropriate and must be addressed.

Be aware they try and scan items fast and when they do they end up scanning 1 item multiple times and hope you don’t catch it so they can make more money off you. CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS !!!

Useless Tree. My how times have changed. I went to 2 locations, of which this was one, to find a bucket, paint brush, ordinary sponge, and adhesive felt pads; items that are typically found in abundance throughout the year at DT. I found a bucket at one of the locations - and that was it. Four years (and counting) since covid, I am sure to be told that it's supply chain issues, yet you can go to home depot and find paint brushes galore, or perhaps that the public at large is simply in the grip of some sort of painting and cleaning frenzy, but I'd find that hard to believe. What makes either of those 2 reasons incredulous is that, at either location, if I were in the market for a plastic easter egg or assorted easter decor, they both had it as far as the eye could see. Or, if you were in need of a bottle of pine-sol that was literally smaller than a can of pepsi, well they had that too. Even the kitchen gadgets wall (and we all know all you have to do is yell strainers and spatulas and people just come running - not) looked like a hurricane came and swept it all out to sea. The long and the short of it, as I have now found, is that the extra trip to the dollar tree to save a little is pretty much a thing of the past; just get it when you're in walmart, home depot, etc - because that's exactly where you're going to wind back up after 2 failed trips to dollars trees in your area. After the extra gas, your time, and perhaps mental well-being, it hardly seems worth it to have nothing to show for your efforts to, ummm, save.

Just terrible all the way around. Every thing that could go wrong with the dollar tree has gone wrong with this one. The Mesa disorganization gave me anxiety. Besides, the fact that the worker there attempted to touch my three month old baby without even asking. I had to make physical contact with her to stop her and let her know that she was crossing a line that had made everything very awkward. After that it was just like she was following me. I don’t know why but it was extremely uncomfortable and awkward .. she was So strange, I will never return.

Worst experience. I always buy in bulk for charity. As I grabbed a cart, I noticed the cashier was on her phone. After shopping 143 items, I make my way to check out, and there is an extremely long line. Up comes a younger slender lady. She takes about 2 people and turns her light off, and asks me to go to the lady still on her phone. I told her I would wait for her line, and her comment is "wow I feel special. Go to her (phone lady) she is almost done." I expressed I was going to stay in her line if she was still open. I organized all items to be efficient. As I am moving along, she says "dog and I just wanted to go slow." I look back to realize she had headphones in her ears, expressing her distress to whomever. I will not be going back.
