“Today was the 4th time I attended Journey Church Tampa in person and I absolutely love it. I had a change of life event (divorce) that caused me to want to search for a new church as new beginnings has since been my theme. I researched churches close to me (and not so close to me) and I began to watch on YouTube and then listen to JCT on podcasts. It was my Monday morning ritual since the end of April. I was extremely nervous to show up at a new church in person so I put it off for a little bit. I traveled a bunch at the start of the summer. Then, I knew it was time to just make the move and get into a church building again. From the start, everyone was extremely friendly. The worship team is amazing , no matter who is up there , they are ALL amazing. There is nothing “showy” about this church. I feel a genuine sense of love for Jesus and the word and just good people. Pastor Michael preaches the word so well— it is real and it is inspiring. And listening to him for a couple of months is really when I knew I needed to go and be a part of this church. If biblical teaching, amazing worship, friendly people, and a pretty cool set up (circular with worship and preaching in the center) is what you are looking for this is where you need to be, too. They also have a lot of events and opportunities to do “life” together as a church body.”
