Shoddy and uncaring customer service at the kangaroo express store on Gulf Boulevard in Redington shores. Early Easter Sunday night. . I had a one-item sundry purchase, line went slowly, but then the person directly in front of me personally knew the cashier, and they got into a health and social conversation without ringing anything up, just talking. I finally showed my one item and my dollar bills, and the customer of the two said oh go ahead, but the cashier was just terrible. Kept talking to her acquaintance, basically ignored me. No eye contact, no conversation, not even sure she told me the total amount due, just kept talking to her friend blah blah blah. Counted out the change, handed it to me , and didn’t even say thanks. In other words took my money, but totally ignored me so that she could talk to someone she knew. I don’t care the size of one’s purchase, that is not the way to treat customers.

This store is awful. I started coming here 7 years ago. It’s drastically gone downhill the last two years. The fountain machine is usually not working or out of ice. Ice is literally water that you just need to put in the top. Anybody can do it including me. The place is dirty and disgusting. The owner is lazy and not friendly. The only thing good about the place are the doughnuts they bring in from Tampa. I used to go there every morning and now I avoid the place unless I want a doughnut

We visited this convenience store three times during a recent visit and all three times were overcharged - rang up two bottles of wine instead of one, three bags of chips instead of one…check your itemized receipt before leaving the store, I suspect this is a regular scam at this place!

Cashier basically ignored me because she was on the phone. Prices are crazy high since they are "convenient" to the beach. You're better off with the liquor store 1/2 mile away or Winn Dixie if you can spare 15 minutes.

Said they closed at 11 and were closed by 10:00 and wouldn't let anybody waiting outside in very disappointing, the employee working was an older woman and was very rude to everyone
