Someone explained to me today that this location is I guess privatized? ( for lack of a better word) which is why the clothing prices start at 8 bucks. Books and some housewares are more realistic but if you can make the ride up to Venice do so.

Horrible Pricing , place was clean though. Most items were priced close to retail.. I travel all around florida to thrift and very ridiculous especially for things they get donated to them for free. good luck getting rid of the inventory..

I travel for my work, so I try to visit Salvation Army‘s in all the towns that I go to to see what unique items they have. Today I went to the one at 1068 Tamiami Trail, and I was astonished at the prices. I’ve never been in the Salvation Army where everything is priced so high. Some of the items are priced just below new in store. First time I left with nothing because I could not find anything that I liked and was priced accordingly. They did have a few nice things but this stores to rich for me.Also, I don’t know how the fire department has not shut them down. You are supposed to be able to get a wheelchair through every aisle. I couldn’t even fit their small shopping carts through the aisle. If they ever had an emergency, no one would be able to get out of there safely.

Way too expensive…$10 or $12.50 for most men’s used shirts. (Not even high end brands)

The Jesus music is alive (dare I say, resurrected??) here! Seriously, it's bordering ear plug level loud and damnit, it was catchy and I started to sing along towards the end of song. Touche SA.This place is full of treasures, especially if you're on the coastal granny kick. And I contributed because I donated about 10 bags of stuff from my moms closet. They had two tag colors 50% off, a lot of items had those colors but sadly I didn't find anything to purchase. Huge selections of both men's and women's and if you look under the racks you can find some furniture to purchase.Tip, if you go in back to donate, you cannot get out that way, must go back on 41. Happy thrifting!

$10 for a simple dress, $8 for a t-shirt too much! Felt like I was wading in nic knack stuffed on shelves walking in. A frequent shopper at Salvation Army, this one will be low on my list to visit. Rugs, furniture and bedding overpriced.

Nice things they have in there. Not too pricey but a good thrift store to shop at.

After hurricane Ian, I've become a supporter of this organization! Their food trucks fed us for eight days! Shopping and ringing the bell during the holidays are just two ways to support them in our community. The store is quite full and difficult to get down some aisles. My only suggestion is that they should have a half off the entire store occasionally to thin out the inventory
