You could see his pink skin look horrible they suggested and I tried it for two months. They sell it and it’s called, progillty he loves it. He is a different dog. All his hair grew back. Brutus is not animal friendly but is cool with people, his continuous bark at everything makes him a very intimidating 70lbs pit pup!! The entire office staff was friendly and accommodating. Dr Simoneaux was very pleasant, he listened to my concerns and came up with a plan to tackle Brutus’s allergies. So far my experience has been great thus the 5 ?

The doctor got down in the floor with our dog and was rewarded with lots of kisses. The vet is incredible! What is usually a stressful situation for me was a breeze here. Outstanding service, care and people! Highly recommend!

223 Duncan Rd, Punta GordaHigh quality vet services…… This additional review is for our latest visit yesterday 8/16/24. Our 16 yo child suddenly had fleas for the first time. We’ve never had this problem. My lack of knowledge on what to do caused me to call Bivens. Their quick response and very reasonable cost made a now miserable pet a very happy one. Miss Bivens and staff are compassionate, don’t believe the negative others say. I know they are after going there for five years. Thank you Bivens animal hospital.

25120 Marion Ave, Punta GordaDr. Winter and his entire staff are AWESOME!!!! If I could give a ten star rating I would. Today I stopped by their office to see if they were open yet due to Hurricane Milton. My 14 year old Labrador Cahill was overdue for a monthly injection that he receives. Even though they weren't open and the staff were in the the middle of cleaning up from the hurricane damage, they administered Cahill's much needed medication. I am so thankful to all of them.

6101 Duncan Rd # 105, Punta GordaI wouldn’t have my little Lilly if it wasn’t for Dr Shaw and his amazing staff! Monday started off with a very sick little Kitty. We took her to our local vet and they couldn’t see her. I tried everything as I had a feeling she wasn’t going to make it if she didn’t get help soon. I tried calling every vet office around and no one could see her until I called Choice Veterinary Clinic in Punta Gorda. This was a half hour drive but her only chance. So glad we did. Dr Shaw was guarded but realized when he saw her she wouldn’t survive if we didn’t do something immediately. I left my tiny little fur baby there in his hands and he promised to call with an update after getting labs and fluids started. We got a call with news that her WBC were extremely high and they were giving 2 antibiotics along with the fluids. The prognosis was still guarded but the staff was amazing at keeping us updated and Dr Shaw called himself to go over a plan of care and our choices. We agreed it best to remain there to keep getting fluids, antibiotics, and some nutritional support. They called after closing and gave me positive but guarded news and called first thing this morning. They were planning on repeating her labs later and decide if she was strong enough to come home. She was starting to act more responsive and alert. This afternoon I got the best call. She was eating some and her lab work was in normal range and we could pick her up at closing Today, just about 30 hours later! We got greeted by a very happy staff! They took such great care and made sure we had all we needed and explained her continued cares needed at home. Tonight she ate for us and took her nutritional supplement. Rolled on the floor and purred like her normal self. She had a lot of lap time too. We just want to Thank Dr Shaw and his caring staff for saving our little girl and her sister was glad to see her back home too!

The vets I went to before would have you drop off your pet and call you when they are done, so you didn't get any information from them. It was so refreshing to have the vet spend time with me. I was previously told my dog had a heart murmur but never knew how bad it was. This vet told me that it was only a 2 to 3 out of 6. That gave me reassurance. My dog is 13 and I want to keep her as healthy as possible. Love these guys.

16480 Burnt Store Rd, Punta GordaDr. Kerr and his staff are THE BEST ever!!! I will only go to his office for my baby boy, 180 lb. 10 year old Great Dane, Jackson!! I travel from Savannah, GA to Punta Gorda, FL if my boys need ANYTHING!!! The ER vet clinic in SC had Jackson already dead in less than 3 months because they said he had a mass on his Spleen... I called Dr. Kerr and was totally wrecked with fear for my boy, He reassured me... He said, I'm a 50/50 kinda Vet... so lets get him down here and snatch that Spleen out and see what we have!! THANK GOODNESS, I did just what he said!!! He took the spleen out and that afternoon I couldn't get Jackson home fast enough before he was jumping around the van trying to get out and run around the yard... HE FELT SOOOO GOOD, after months of feeling like poo for having his spleen bleed internally!!! Dr. Kerr sent the spleen off for testing and it came back NO CANCER!!! Dr. Kerr called me IMMEDIATELY to tell me the GREAT NEWS!!! I LOVE THIS PRACTICE!!!!

They did an awesome job we were sent videos and pictures daily of her progress and from the first day to the last day there was a great improvement. We now have tips and knowledge on how to keep up their fantastic work and she will continue to learn and grow to be a great dog ! We will continue to go on the weekend walks with group so we can become better trained ourselves. Thank you Mark , Hayley , Ali and the rest of the team for taking great care of our girl we missed her while she was gone but so worth all the training she received you all are rockstars

My Cat Nap Cottage
6101 Duncan Rd, Punta GordaWe brought our cat Biscuit to My Cat Nap Cottage for a 2 night stay. We have never left him before. We had checked out a few cat boarding places and decided that this was by far the best place for Biscuit. Our experience was wonderful. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. Antonio spent time reassuring us and showing us how comfortable all the cats were, and then let me spend as much time as I wanted to comfort my cat. The facility is spotless, and each "room" for the cats is spacious and clean with their own cat posts. Erin, the owner understood that I was stressed leaving Biscuit for the first time, so when I called after the first day, she answered all my questions and stayed on the phone reassuring me that Biscuit was doing really well. A little while later she sent me a Report Card on how he was doing so far, and sent me 2 short videos letting me see that he was fine and interacting. I will definitely use My Cat Nap Cottage in the future anytime I can't bring Biscuit with me when I travel.

He’s extremely personable, loves to chat. He had to remind us a few times that the training is for us, not our pet. He gives you the best way to be able to train your own pet. They have a large variety of flavors as well as nondairy ice cream for us that are lactose intolerant.
