I had the pleasure of speaking with Fred, of New England Antiques of Punta Gorda. While I didn’t get an appraisal, he gave me something far better….his advice. He was able to explain, and help me realize what I needed to do with the piece I was calling about. If I ever really do need an appraisal, they will be the first place I call. Thank you Fred.

Fred was very helpful and it was nice to meet someone who was willing to share his knowledge in reference to what we were looking to accomplish. He took the time to explain the market today and how it works and he was honest and fair. We would highly recommend them and look forward to working with them again. Loved sharing stories as well.

Wealth of knowledge is what Mr. Elliott possesses and he is willing to share it. He and Nancy (Mrs. Elliott?) are honest, straightforward, thorough, and transparent with their assessment. Mr. Elliott was generous with his time and expertise and shed light on our unanswered question of generations. Thanks to him, we are better informed and educated.

Five stars is NOT high enough!!Not only was Mr Elliott courteous, but he was also prompt with his valuation and beyond helpful in explaining how he came to that conclusion. He even went so far as to offer shipping advice for my piece, which is something that a commercial storefront would not have taken the time to do.I would ABSOLUTELY recommend his services to ANYONE who needs to know the answer to "I wonder if this is worthy anything?" and would DEFINITELY recommend that you get your item(s) appraised by his company for your insurance purposes.Making the call to "New England Antiques of Punta Gorda" was something I should have done YEARS ago!!

We would like to share our opinion of Fred Elliott and New England Antiques. Approximately twenty years ago we met as neighbors and immediately started a business relationship. Since moving here from Maryland we have always bought and sold antiques as we had done up north. When ever any opinion was needed we called on New England Antiques because of Fred overwhelming knowledge of the business. Fred has found numerous antiques that we have been searching for and without fail has always produced and then treated us very fair while dealing . Since in Florida we have not met anyone in the with the knowledge of antiques that he possesses. I urge you to call New England Antiques whenever your are in the market to purchase or sell any antiques.Thank You Fred and Nancy for all your help in past sales and purchases,George & Tina Herl
