I Finally found a great salon here at Illusions in PG . Sonya the owner took excellent care of my hair today doing a conditoning treatment! My hair feels like silk! I've been coming here for a year now to get my haircuts and highlights and everyone is very friendly and professional! I highly recommend this salon!

Stylist: When I tell you I am beyond amazed at the incredible color I received by Dalene this week. She went above and beyond any expectation I may have had. I had a very difficult color correction due to another salons mistake that left my hair with many different colors, including brass. Dalene had an extensive consultation, she advised me regarding the condition of my hair, and what in her professional opinion could be done. Just wow ! I will be returning to her from here on out. She was knowledgeable, informative, and I felt totally at ease.

I have been going to Illusions for 10 years now and wouldn’t consider anywhere else. Sonya is the owner and a fabulous hairdresser. She is professional, warm and friendly and goes above and beyond for her clients. She is compassionate and listens to all your concerns.
I have also had wonderful facials with Debra and recently had my eyebrows done! I love them!

I have always gone to illusions for my hair and they have always done an amazing job… but today was my first time getting a massage from Janice and it was PHENOMENAL! I’ve been in a lot of sciatic pain and an hour with her made a huge difference. 1000/10 recommend getting a massage at Illusions !

The more I look at my hair and my experience here, the angrier I get. The person who did the balayage, or whatever it’s called, did a terrible job. I showed them pictures of what I wanted, telling them I didn’t want to go all the way to my roots. Ignored. Showed them the color I wanted. Ignored. They did the exact opposite; basically did whatever they wanted. They went in the back and said “let me go mix some color”… it was bleach. Just bleach. No toner, no color. Bleach. Not to mention this person smelled like they chain smoked cigarettes and hadn’t washed their clothes is over a week. I paid $200 and a $50 tip for something I could have LITERALLY done myself. Genuinely. The “stylist” was rough, dropped their styling tools on the floor multiple times and continued to put it in my hair and THERE WAS OTHER PEOPLES HAIR STILL ON THE FLOOR! No conversation no matter how many times I tried to start one. I ended up just reading a book on my phone. I could have done a better job myself. My husband was there too getting his hair cut and something that should have taken 25 minutes took and entire hour. This place was a disappointment. I picked it because of the reviews and did research only to be dissatisfied and disappointed. 10/10 not recommend and will not recommend. Ever. Even the receptionist said some shady stuff about one of the hair stylists. She was probably the only honest and good thing about this place. Illusions is definitely fitting for a name.Services: Haircut

It has taken 6 months for my hair to grow out enough to cut the awful perm Hardy gave me. He decided after, taking the perm rods out , to "trim" about 6" off. He complained when I told him I wanted a perm( it was scheduled), then the rods were all wrong, and the paper wasn't working,Well, neither did the neutralizer on the left side of my head. I read about Hardy in a review and thought it must have been a bad day for someone.Save yourself, have a great day anywhere else!!!The owner always wants someone to complain immediately to her. Believe me we just want to get out!Like I said my hair is just now even with my ears, add 6 months and subtract 6". It took courage just to walk out !!!!Service: Perms
