Unfortunately we didn't make it back in the ER. We ended up at Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando (highly recommend) - But the front staff checking people in need an attitude adjustment. When you have a sick child the last thing you need is someone getting nasty with you just because you asked an approximate time frame of what we were looking at for a wait time. We didn't want our daughter sitting in excruciating pain for hours when we could drive to Orlando in an hour and be seen right away. We weren't rude or nasty when we asked that question but the lady at the front desk copped an attitude immediately with us. That's all we wanted to know. If you can't be kind you shouldn't work in healthcare. Coming from a NURSE, Try harder!!!

Worst experience of my life, the woman who called me should not be allowed to work with people of the human race

My husband past away January 2023 at Traditions Hospital. At that time I thought the hospital was wonderful. Unfortunately something has changed. My brother is in the ICU at Traditions. Infact he is in a room next to the room My husband passed away in. Needless to say I was very agitated, sad & upset. Having to deal with the security guard Mr. James has changed my view of Traditions Hospital. The security guard is the first person a visitor sees. Mr. Smith does not show any concern for the people he inter acts with. There's no friendliness, no empathy! The security guards in January were so much more helpful and friendly. I would never recommend this hospital to anyone. The reason why is Mr. James. He does not do anything good for the reputation of Traditions Hospital!

Absolutely horrendous. I wish I could leave '0' stars. We arrived at the emergency room desk at 12:15pm and were not seen until 4:00. My family member needed immediate attention as we both work in hospitals back in NY we know how the ER game goes and who gets help first. We're very dissatisfied with this establishment the desk lady was beyond obvious and should not work in the ER and the man who does basic testing needs a course on how to speak to WOMAN patients; this is not a gentleman's club. However we were seen eventually by the doctor who low and behold went home for the day in the middle of treating my family member. we were discharged at 6 o'clock. What a waste of a day. Do NOT even bother with your time coming here.

4/29/23 I had a great experience here with my son. Receptionist was so kind and pleasant, our RN was amazing.... Debbie was so wonderful to my terrified son. Our doctor was great, radiologist was great, hospital was quiet and we were seen fast. sorry for those who had bad experiences but ours was fantastic and I am so glad we chose this hospital. new to psl, for a Friday night, I would absolutely recommend this hospital again.

I spent the day in the emergency room, yes, maybe 4-5 hours. There were patients in every exam room and in the halls and every one of the medical staff was busy, efficient, capable, calm, and caring. I was offered warmed blankets, pillows, and checked regularly. Dr. Carríelo was kind and thorough in explaining the results of my scan, bloodwork, and urinalysis. The nurses, techs, and aides were wonderful as well. You don't go to the ER for immediate treatment unless you're severely injured. But my problem with stabbing pains was diagnosed and treated. I could have spent days in pain waiting to get an appointment with my GP and then more days waiting for diagnostic tests. Take a book, have a nap, but expect excellent care.

Here is what I filled out on their survey that Cleveland Clinic in St. Lucie West sent me ...Horrible, Horrible, Horrible! Patient almost died!!!! We arrived in the ER about 12:30pm. My fiancee was suffering from a bad UTI and body tremors. We were seen and evaluated within an hour, which was fine. Blood was taken and we discussed her condition with the doctor in the ER. He suggest that she was bad enough to be admitted. From that point on ... The experience was unacceptable! We waited about 6.5 hours for her to be admitted. The people behind the desks kept giving us the textbook, "we are doing the best we can, please be patient." In the meantime, My fiancee was becoming foggy and was shaking terribly. She had to go to the restroom every 15 minutes and was in great pain. I complained about this many times and got the same answer as before, but a bit nastier. "I understand the problem but was have many patients to deal with." After a six hour wait, we were, still sitting in the large ER waiting room with about 40 people, I asked a nurse how much longer we would have to wait She was just coming out of some side doors. She said, "there are no rooms available here. All filled." I said, no, not in the ER, we are waiting 6 hours to be admitted. She replied, As I understand it, there are no rooms available in the hospital at all."At this point I asked my fiancee what she wanted to do, and she said, "I want to go home." I then alerted the woman at the front desk that we were leaving. She said, "that is your parogotive, but we took blood already." I asked her can she see how much longer we have to wait to be admitted?" She said, "I don't know. I[m not in charge of that." I asked, can you please ask? "She said, "No. There is nobody to call. They will alert us." At that point we left. Please read on.That evening, I had to call an ambulance for her. She was entering dementia, had to be carried to the toilet and actually fell off of it, hurting herself in the process. I put her in bed and she proceeded to throw up. At that point I called 911 and she is now at St Luce Medical Center. She was immediately admitted and diagnosed with a UTI. The next day, she was transported to ICU because her UTI became septic and one of her kidneys was also infected. She has been in ICU for three days as I write this and is undergoing massive amounts of antiviral and steroid medication. She will be in the hospital for several weeks and her life was in great danger the whole time we were waiting at the Cleveland Clinic ER.I have to say that I have never been to an ER that was so indifferent. It was a horrible, life threating experience and we were put in the corner of a large crowded room."Shame on you" for having a system that doesn't alert us to the fact that you had no rooms. Shame on you for making us wait 6.5 hours without treatment, nor give notice that we wouldn't be seen anyway. It's not the doctors or nurses, it's your "stystem." To insult us further, we received a $3,500 bill for our ER visit. Our share after insurance is $562. I complained and was told the bill would stick because WE left the ER. So let's see, we waited 6.5 hours, the patient almost died, her children had to fly in just in case, and we were billed $3,500 for the privilige.I am not a person who writes a bad review. I"m easygoing and my glass is usually half full. What I wrote, had to be said. It's worthy of a human interest news story. I understand overcrowding in St. Lucie and flu season. That's understood. The uncoordinated ineffeciency though, really leaves me angry.

The ICU Unit, nurses, doctors, techs and housekeepers were very caring and wonderful. However, more staff members are needEd in the emergency department and on the floors. Nurses cannot properly supervise patients due to their work load. This may result in them finding a patient in critical danger that may lead to death as was the case with my sister.I visited the hospital to retrieve my sister's personal belongings. I was told they were to be vouchered and put in the safe. Nothing had been vouchered; no clothing , no jewelry. K. the Nursing Supervisor on call yesterday, met with us. she was very professional and empathetic. She promised to investigate and asked us to check at home again and follow up. I called to let her know that the Ring Camera shows my sister on the stretcher with earrings in her ears. She was not on duty so I was transferred to Bill.Speaking to Bill, Operations Supervisor/ Nursing supervisor on call was very disheartening. He was rude, refused to listen, spoke aggressively, made a sarcastic comment," oh, you can listen!", raised his voice at me accusing me of not listening to him , brushed me off, over talked me, was unsympathetic and unprofessional. He even hung up the phone on me. I pray that someone is kinder to him if he loses a loved one.I am saddled and disgusted by his lack of empathy and professionalis.

This hospital severely neglected and abused my dad before he passed and no one from the government nor any lawyer got involved to help despite they were well informed.

I should've read the reviews before I came here. My official nurse was so helpful and kind and very funny and I would've given 5 stars if it were only here making up my visit. The check in nurse was horrible. She was terrible big attitude very nasty blonde nurse. I was in a bed in the hallway. No one told me to get a sample of my feces until I didn't have any more to test (food poisoning) so that wasn't confirmed. Came in shivering she would not get me a blanket told me I had to wait. Asked for a drink since no one was helping me told me no because it's procedure but I was suffering. Anything requested or asked me and my fiancé were given an attitude waited for over an hour in the waiting room used the bathroom twice and had to be pulled off the toilet because I was so weak and dehydrated and she didn't care
