I had 2 scheduled appointments with Safelite. For my first appointment (approx. 2 weeks ago) the technician arrived on time and informed me the moulding on my front windshield was different from what he had on hand. He placed an order for the correct moulding and rescheduled my appointment (approx. 2 weeks later). At 8:45am, on the day of my 2nd appointment (which was scheduled between 8am-12pm), I received a text that my appointment was rescheduled. No phone call and no explanation. This was AFTER I had confirmed my appointment the day before. I called their customer service team and was informed the moulding had not arrived - hence the reschedule. According to their rep, they typically receive the part(s) either the day BEFORE or on the day OF the appointment. So to put this into perspective, Safelite sends you a text to confirm your appointment, without actually knowing if they will have the part(s) to complete the install. Meanwhile, as a customer, you make arrangements to be available for a service that may or may not occur. This is extremely disappointing, unacceptable and based on other reviews, it's not uncommon.

They flaked, no call, no text after waiting around all day, I even called an hour and a half into the massive 5 hours they schedule which is unlike any other industry even the cable company doesn't have that wide of range, they do this because they don't respect your time and overbook and overworked the technicians and then you end up holding the bag when they don't show. I took the day off of work which cost me $500, not getting reimbursed for that?

Had 2 scheduled appointments...one went past the 5 hour window so I couldn't wait and today 10/15. I had an 8-12 a complete no show and lied to over the phone...either a liar or incompetent...Daniel at the Port St Lucie location

Company cancelled at last minute! I made an appt with this company for 9/16 to come to my location between 12-5pm to replace a cracked windshield. On the morning of the appt I received a call from the installer stating he would be arriving between 4-5pm. The entire day went by and at 5pm I received a second call from the installer stating he was not able to make it and was going to cancel. No other explanation given. At around 7pm I got text from the company saying I was rescheduled for 9/27 eleven days later…lol No apologies or offers to make up for the no show. Only after I started the cancellation process did they offer a discount which I refused. This is bad business and I will never use this company again. In the end I actually got a better price from another local company.

Great place dropped my car off picked it up in the afternoon everything looked great didn’t even feel or look as if I replaced my windshield

They did a good job on my windshield even though it took over 4 hours instead of the 2.5 hours they said it would take. This was apparently due to the calibration machines not being charged. Repair guy was very nice and apologetic.

Techs could not reset the safety features associated with the windshield camera due to after market windshield. They will need to reinstall a factory windshield. So, no safety features work on the car.
