The only positive feedback about this place is how close it is to highways and charging stations for those with EV vehicles. I drove a 14-hour trip from New Orleans on my way to Miami. Around 10:00 PM, I decided to stop somewhere and book a room for the night and not continue driving in the night, so I came across this Residence Inn; it was a little pricey for what it was, but it looked OKAY in the pictures. When I arrived at the location, it looked like an abandoned banquet hall in the middle of the wild-west. Immediately as I walked in, a bunch of loud kids played video games in some room next to the lobby; this was at 11:00 PM!!!! When I proceeded to the front desk, the lovely person behind the counter was too busy on a call for over 10 minutes and too busy to acknowledge someone (me) was waiting in front of him. When my patience ran out, and I told him I was tired from driving 14 hours none stop and that I would love to check in, he decided to scream and tell me he was busy on the phone, so I repeated please, I would love to just check-in and move on with my night on to which he yells again saying he couldn't find my reservation, all these he still with the phone on his ears instead of putting whoever person on hold and take care of me on a proper manner. Hospitality staff keeps forgetting that hotels are away from home, and we expect to be treated nicely, which makes us feel at home or at least try. It is not hard to be nice to people. To all of this, I was so upset that my sleep was gone, so I turned my back left and decided to continue driving to Miami and stay at this God-awful place. On my way home, of course, I tried to get a refund since I wasn't planning to stay in a place where yelling at guests was the proper way. To my surprise, they refused to return my money. Long story short, stay away from this place.

Timothy at the front desk should be acknowledged for being a great asset to his employer. I knew once speaking with him before booking that he would make this a wonderful stay. He was informative, thorough, prompt and courteous.
Rooms: One bedroom studio with couch is extremely beautiful and clean. From the 60-in TV to the dishwasher it was very spacious with up to date modern style furniture.
Safety: Area is very safe. I have family in the area and they also agree.
Walkability: Within less than a 10-minute walk you have a Walmart three restaurants and a movie theater.

We reserved this room 2 1/2 weeks ago for one night only. We walked into the room and the air conditioning was off and it was 87°. We immediately turned the air on all the way down to 64°. I called the reservation desk and was told that it is their policy to not turn the air on before the guest arrive. He did apologize. Ridiculous because it was already 90° in Florida at this time. Turning the air on in a hotel room at 84° inside, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, with the sun beaming in, there is no way that the air in the room will cool off before 6 o’clock the next morning and it didn’t. We were also told at check in that we had to turn on the water in the sinks, bathroom, and tub because of new construction. All of the water was running brown for approximately seven minutes. So here we are sweating profusely, unloading and loading or luggage into this hotel room, with all the water faucets turned on to let the dirt run out. The den did not have a sofa in it only uncomfortable chairs. Completely unacceptable. The breakfast was also terrible. Will not ever stay here again.

Very disappointing at this location. Air conditioning issues in bedroom forced us to sleep on a poorly made sleep sofa .We went down to front desk although very helpful we were stuck in an over heated one bedroom suite. There are many other newer choices with updated amenities. In my opinion this location doesn’t meet the specifications to truly be an updated Marriott property. The breakfast was so basic that we had to have breakfast off site.

First, I really hate leaving reviews unless absolutely necessary. The hotel is newly remodeled unfortunately the rooms aren't. They are outdated and not welcoming at all. The staff isn't pleasant at all as well with exception to the one night shift guy with long hair(Sorry I didnt get your name when I checked out). My personal opinion on the staff is that management sets the tone here. I have a huge problem with rude/sarcastic people it really does take me out of character and I hate that for me. I could write a 4pg letter about this place but I'll stop here. If you like Marriott and want to stay with Marriott there is a TownePlace Suites at exit 118 3exits up. Absolutely amazing everything about this place rooms, staff, hotel, and pool all really nice.

Stayed here on 4/23. Dominique was at the desk, and she has to be the most rude Marriott employee I have encountered, and I am a titanium member with the chain. Not helpful at all and once I told management about the altercation I had with her, they offered my nothing! Won't stay here again, and I am through here quite a lot. Hotel was also out of body wash, which happens a lot since they don't provide individual bottles of shampoo anymore. Find another hotel!

We stayed here April 18 - 19, 2024. We are very satisfied with everything. The lady at the front desk was super nice and very professional. We thank her for that (sorry! Cant remember her name but I'm sure ya'll can find out who it was by the dates). The rooms were separated, it had a full service kitchen and a separate bedroom which we loved. The rooms were clean bigger than expected. Thank you! We would definitely stay here again!

I used bonvoy points so this stay was free but I still feel slighted. The pool was both cold and bright green with algae. Not safe for swimming. Our room sofa bed had a dirty mattress cover and a candy wrapper in it. The frying pan was missing and the associate on duty didn't have the keys to access any extra. My chat request for more towels via the app was never answered so I went to the front desk where I was led to the back office to choose my items out of a cart. Our room never got serviced on day two and our body wash ran out. There just seems to be a major lack of management and care which is really disappointing for a Marriott property.
