After denyong me pain medication after surgery i called publix to inform them. I was told a area director would call me back. Nope it was someone from their pharmacy trying to deny denying me medication. Since you like to record phone calls check mine at 5:12 pm and listen to your employee NOT offer me 3 days. Listen to her deny me and put me on hold after I asked for a manager. I was never once offered a 3 day supply until after the nurses at good Samaritan called your bad employee. You should be ashamed.

When I tell you racism is real it’s definitely real. I had to change my prescription to a different Publix location due to the fact that the pharmacist were so unprofessional with their unsatisfactory customer service. Every time I visit the pharmacy they tend to treat me differently than everyone else. For instance two weeks ago on a Sunday I went to the pharmacy to ask if I am able to fill a prescription and get it the same day. I approach the line I am the only one in the line, two Caucasian, and one black pharmacist was standing behind the counter while I stood there for eight minutes, waiting for someone to get to my attention. When one of the Caucasian pharmacist saw me I heard she said to the black pharmacist you go and take her now I am thinking to why wouldn’t she take me why she had to tell the other one to take me. OK the black pharmacist asked me what I would like etc. I told her what I’d like and she said ok give her 5 mins. That 5 mins turn to 15 mins, while I was waiting another customer came in the line, be mindful I’m at the counter waiting as what I was told by the black pharmacist. One of the caucasian pharmacist saw the other customer and she approached me to say I should go and stand over there while the black pharmacist is taking care of my request. I was so irked the way how she spoke to me and the fact that she assist that customer faster than how long I was waiting. 25 mins later I’m still waiting until the black pharmacist told me that one of the Caucasian pharmacist would have to fill the prescription for me and they will call me so I should go home until I receive that call. This was two weeks ago and until this day I have never received a call that my prescription was filled and that is when I decided to switch to a different pharmacy This Publix/ pharmacy is the worst place to go for your prescription. I always hear people talk about racism but never crossed my mind I’ll experienced that. I will never ever go to this Publix anymore and my family and friends won’t either.

I loved Publix Pharmacy#0819 on St. James Drive in Port St. Lucie FL until earlier in March 2022. There must have been a change in management because there was a big mix up in availability of a medication I take on a daily basis. It had to be ordered and wasn't available for 2Weeks. Rather a bummer, but, it was ordered! Change is good! It may just be me, who knows?

The guy that gave me the Covid shot at this Publix was kind of a douchebag.
He wouldn't let my wife take a picture getting the shot and was sarcastic about it.
What ever happened to respecting customers?

Publix employees are truly amazing today the pharmacy employee that checked me out found a discount for me so my $73. prescription cost $37. What an awesome thing to do for a total stranger. Service above and beyond.

The upside to using Publix pharmacy is that you can shop and get your prescription at the same time. The pharmacists here will know who you are once they get use to seeing you. John the pharmacist is great as are the rest of the people who work here.
