My husband uses a bi pap machine. We finally have discontinued purchasing from Perkins. We have had intermittent issues for years. We travel in an rv all summer and tried to get them to ship to where we were and it became such an issue we had them ship to our house so our son could send it. To a mask with foam which is the first time he was comfortable using the mask. Every order was wrong after that and he would have to go switch it out. So now we got back in town and he brought the incorrect masks in ( never opened or used) and they refused to exchange. We went directly to DME of America which is a medical supply right down the road. We had to purchase the current masks there but they are going to work with his doctor to get him set up for regular deliveries. Every single order was an issue since we started with them. Do not use Perkins if you can avoid it.

We were traveling all summer so we were unable to return anything. This was explained to the employee. As soon as we got back we came into the store to exchange the unused and unopened masks. Poor customer service.

I am a cancer patient and I have family members who are very ill so I have not been home to lay in bed with a CPAP machine on therefore Perkins medical supply deemed that I’m not using it against medical advice. This is not true
I have been in and out of the hospital several times since last November. Now I have family members ill.
. I’m too busy helping family members and running from hospital to home to other hospital And Perkins is not very empathetic at all. They were very rude to me and they were very rude to my significant other. They’re charging three times what I could buy a CPAP machine for my insurance company.

my auntie has to go there to get a machine CPAP and they keep giving her a runaround and keep saying that they don’t have the documents. They just got documents somehow but they keep giving us the runaround and they won’t tell us. They are being annoying and they can barely tell us one we’re trying to schedule an appointment is been around two months and they haven’t called us and before they said they will call us in 30 minutes but it’s been what it was like maybe five hours and they still haven’t called us. don’t go to Perkins

I am only giving 5 stars for sweet beautiful Gloria ! She was very kind to me today and helped me get the right motorized scooter. Getting to this point was 8 looooong painful months in the making do to a challenging employee but Gloria herself deserves 5 stars. Thank you Gloria I wish you took care of getting the hospital beds and scooters from restart because I’d have had what I needed 8 months ago

Thier respiratory specialist doesn't work hours that anyone with a job could come in. Looking at the past reviews on anything remotely having anything to do with CPAP has been very unfavorable. Will be calling the doctor to find another place to call the order in. Hopefully they will try better to accommodate their potential customers.

Don't shop here. They will not return promised phone calls. They are more expensive than anyone else . They are condescending and rude..They will find any way they can to up charge you.
They do not look out for you instead they try to take advantage of the elderly..

I wouldn't provide even 1 start, My husband is disabled, Heart condition, He can't stand or walk for long periods of time.
He was about to has surgery and we decided to take a cruise before that happens . We had the "Terrible" Idea to go to Perkins and get a walker/wheelchair to enjoy our Cruise and go and visit the ports,
We make sure we told why we need it and why we were buying this equipment.
Immediately he came home with this walker, I said let's try this, I pushed him around the neighborhood. OH MY GOSH, that thing went all over the place ,was so difficult to handle and keep it on the right path, was crazy.
If you want to control were this thing goes you almost have to carried with him on top of the wheelchair.
Even thought is supposed to be able to carry a 300 pounds person and my husband is 240 pounds.
Horrendous, I went back to Perkins to tried to explain our experience and the "Manager " in a very aggressive and rude way starting rising her voice at me and saying per our policy if we can't sell it again, we can't take it back, I explained and try to let her understand that you can't sell it again this equipment doesn't work, why you are gonna sell it to somebody else if is defective
That walker/wheelchair is not strong enough to carry a 240 pounds man. And they sell this equipment like it can carry a 300 pounds person.
Our " Vacation" went really well with one little nightmare as I said even with the manager sending that thing to repair , that didn't work, don't work and will never work.'
We had to rent a wheelchair on that cruise, they very nicely only charged us $ 50.00 not the amount they usually charge, they saw us trying to used that Mickey Mouse Wheelchair from Perkins.
I am not planning to go back there, One more thing This Manager called me " MAMA" I am not your "MAMA".
Very disappointed about the whole thing.

Very, very poor customer service. No one greets you or comes to offer assistance. They just avoid looking in your direction. It's better to just order online or go to Butterfield pharmacy. These people don't even try. I would give them zero star if I could as that was all I got from them.

Excellent service.. and affordable. I would have to recommend shopping at this place just on an emergency case. But in case you need it, they make you feel they are there for you in the worst moment. Bandage. Cane's, chairs, patient gown, you name it.

1st she tried to sell me a product that had been used and returned, she pulled it from under the register then when asked to see the display for more options she came out of the back room with one in a box. No selections to choose from just rudeness. Last time I going there, this is the 3rd time poor service, no help,nothing.Found a MUCH BETTER place with a wonderful display to choose from, helpful service, polite and friendly. Found me a wonderful store for all my medical needs. Thanks for a bad service from Perkins or I would have never found this place.

I first came to use Perkins when I needed connectors for my oxygen lines and the company i got my oxygen through was out of them and would not have them for at least a month. They were the only medical supply company that would sell them to me since i was not getting my supplies from them. That was a big plus for me. This year I switched to a Medicare Advantage Plan where Perkins is in Network. I called after the hospital called in the script for my oxygen and a new hospital bed. I spoke with John at the Vero Beach location and he explain what the script for the bed had to have on it and what was needed to make the whole process easier. Unlike all of the other companies I had my oxygen three days after it was received in their office. The same day that the oxygen was delivered I had an issue with part of the equipment and they were out with a replacement in less than 30 minutes of the time I called. Never had that level of service. Last Friday I received the bed and there was a issue and I called today and spoke with them and they were at my house and had the repair, was a minor 5 minute fix, done by 12:30. This was another first. I would recommend them in a heart beat and love the service. It is nice to find a medical supply company that treats you as a human rather than a cash maker.

My cousin recently started using his mom's old walker. We thought it would be great to get him a tray to fit on top so he could take his lunch from the kitchen to the diningroom by himself. I went to a local drug store to buy one but the cup holder was too small. I went to Perkins where I've gone many times before for various items. I bought what I thought was just right - a little pricey at $25 but I bought it. I know they have a 10 day return policy. My cousin lives in a different city an hour away so I don't get there every day. It didn't fit his walker because the side bar around the tip doesn't have raised handle area so he gave it back to me. I tried to return it. NO - not within the 10 days. Really? It's still in the original bag, had the receipt, never used it, just not within 10 days. I will never grace the doorway of this company again. I guess its just all about the money. Too bad. Customer service used to be a "thing" but not anymore. Sad. If you are looking for medical related things I'd go to Amazon - they take stuff back!

I would avoid Perkins medical supply at all costs. The customer service is horrendous. I was told I could come in and pick up some needed CPAP supplies and have my CPAP machine looked at by one of their technicians. Not only was the technician not there for my appointment but my supplies which I was told were ready and available for me to pick up were not there either. I live a considerable distance from this establishment and it caused me a great inconvenience going there only to be told that the person I had the appointment with was not there and the supplies that I was told were there were not there. Don't know how these people are in business. God help you if you deal with them.
