I like it, very helpful only concern"? I would like them to call us after any type of test. Instead of saying if you don't hear nothing from us then everything's okay, not always because some people might just forget and maybe we have some additional questions. Thank you. God bless.

This place is so pathetic they have me waiting on the phone for like 40 minutes when it was supposed to be an emergency since my cat is very sick they keep playing on the phone telling me to hold on, very awful they do not care if your pet is dying, I have to beg them to give them money? Come on… I’m Not coming back to this place.

Left this vet. Giving only 3 stars due to bad business practices. The vet care is good.Dolly, my oldest baby is sick with a urinary track infection.$300 vet bill that included blood work. Fine. No problem. I get it. Vetting is expensive.Separate urine analysis another $56. Fine. Seems silly. I did the work getting the urine and driving back to the vet for drop off, but ok. Don’t include it in the initial bill, fine. I don’t agree with it, but ok. I pay it.They said they will call me with results and I can swing by and pick up a prescription once results come back, so they did.I go to pick up the meds. They said it will be $83.10 for this special antibiotic. I questioned the charge letting them know that sounded high for an antibiotic or dog Med of any kind. The receptionist agreed and then I asked, if I would be better off going to Sam’s to get this prescription? She said she really had no idea if they even had it and she doubted it,but I could always check. She said she really had no idea if they would even have something like that or not.So I paid the $84.10 on my card reluctantly. As I left, I was dialing Sam’s pharmacy getting into my car. I got up the street and got the answer that I was needing. The prescription would only be $52 and they had it and would hold it in my name if the vet called it in.That is a huge difference in price. So I immediately called the vet back to let them know. She then said “Well, we cannot take back the medication because it’s already left the building.”My phone records indicate communication between 4:26pm to 4:41pm with this vet office and also included time spent calling Sam’s as I sat in my running car up the street to come up with a more economical solution. That is approximately 15 minutes.Mind you, This is a pre-manufactured medication in a sealed box. It is a sealed medication and I was a block up the road. She continued to tell me that they would not take the med back or refund my money so that I could get a better deal at Sam’s. Again this is a pre-manufactured medication, similar to something like a bottle of Tylenol that would be sealed and untouched.I was only a block up the road and told her I was literally still a block away. She said it didn’t matter! That is was their policy and they could not take it back because it left the building. A sealed unrefrigerated medication. Really? Give me a break. It had been from the manufacturer!I was furious.I told her I am so serious that this could make me lose my business with them, and she said she was really sorry to hear that. (Disclaimer: She didn’t actually sound that sorry.)Nobody called me back. Nobody cared. So I immediately started looking for vets. I accomplished all of this within the same hour I found the less expensive medication.Do you think that this vet office cared enough to make any attempt at all to either match the price or even call another pharmacy themselves to see if I could save any money? Nope. This is BAD BUSINESS. You do not treat good customers like this. I have bragged on them and have sent other patients to them.Well, the joke is on them, because I have three senior dogs out of the five animals I have that are going to probably end up costing me a bloody fortune in the next couple years because I love them so much and I will get them vetted to the best of my ability in their old age. But it absolutely will not be at North Port St. Lucie Animal Hospital. Please let this be a lesson on how to treat loyal customers in ANY business. Don’t implement self check outs and don’t screw people over on price, because there are PLENTY of other places wanting your business. Please see photos of the sealed medication for reference. This veterinarians’ office would rather earn the difference between $83 and $52 instead of earn the thousands of dollars they would have earned with all of my animals going to them for future vetting.Reply to their comment: Nobody has tried to reach me so that is a lie. No missed calls from them nor voicemails. A lie for this review to save face.

We came here because my boy was discrimanted against at Banfield in Port St Lucie just because he is a rottie and the nurse was afraid of him! But here, belly rubs, kisses, snacks, and even selfies with him were all on the menu! Doctor was able to give him a full exam, update his vaccines, and even draw blood! The only reaction from my rottie was drooly kisses, and love through out. Clearly I know who the REAL pros are. Thank you for loving my Luka and understanding that he may be big, but he isn't scary. He is a mush that is just curious and excited to meet everyone! This is my new vet on the go forward for my baby!

Dr. Carrell and the entire staff at North Port St Lucie Animal Hospital are the absolute best. I was so lucky to have found Dr. Carrell when we moved to PSL, he took great care of our dog Cody. I could always count on his counsel in handling health issues - he relies on his knowledge and experience to recommend the appropriate treatment. Everyone there has a great attitude, and truly care.

Fantastic vet office, staff are so friendly and funny. The tech did a great job with Pebbles and kept her as comfortable as she could be. And Dr. Carell was very professional, knowledgeable, and conservative with our treatment to monitor Pebbles before doing anything invasive. Which is greatly appreciated.Never pushing any unnecessary services and educating us with great bed side manner. I highly recommend this office for your pet services.More than fair with cost of services as well. ?

Veterinarians are great. The front desk staff are horrible. They are rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. Facility needs to consider new employees. My dogs prescription were never filled on time and waiting for approvals from the staff. It was a constant battle to get the approvals and when confronted about it I was lied to by the staff. I recommend that you don't waste your time with this place until the staff is reconsidered.

We used PSL for all our veterinary needs over the last two years and we’re generally very satisfied with the services. Staff are kind and gentle even with the most anxious of our pets, and booking is easy & flexible in a quite nice facility. The online veterinary system is reasonably priced and quick to ship. Our aging dog has improved significantly with the help of a supplement which staff suggested. The downsides are twofold; PSL is outrageously expensive, and this clinic does not practice competitive pricing. There is also an absolute and total lack of policy regarding pet behavior. Aggressive dogs that lunge toward every passerby and ill-trained uncontrolled miniatures bark and howl both in the waiting room and in the back, which is a significant cause of anxiety (for humans and animals both!) All of this is ignored and brushed off by staff/petowners as “normal dog behavior” so if you choose this location, your veterinary care will be great, but beware selecting booking times and try to get an appointment during slow hours when it’s quiet.

My boyfriend and I found a stray kitten begging for help at the end of last year. After bringing her to 4 different vet offices, we found this one. They’re beyond kind and show so much love for our girl (Ghost). We appreciate them so so much. Thank you all for everything!!
