There is too much equipment that is either broken, out of service or worn out.

Failed to close my account when asked in January . Now they charged me for the annual fee on top of that. When I called the 1st time they said oh it’s still pending so we can’t refund you. Called again later they said since we closed your account we can’t refund you then my last call today they said I gotta call cooperate. The guy at the front desk said” it pays to be nice” . It clearly doesn’t if you had to call several times to get something fixed and transferred multiple times for a problem that was made by them! Clearly canceling a membership is a task to great for them and even more difficult to get a refund for their mistakes.

This location doesn't have a racketball court, but they have a swimming pool with a jacuzzi area and a sauna. Upstairs and downstairs are available and lots of equipment. A few of the exercise machines are failing or in need of maintenance. Even a paint job would make a difference on some of them. Paint is literally falling off and on the floor of a few of the machines upstairs that I noticed. The environment is great but the parking is horrible. Going during peak afternoon times is almost impossible to find closer parking. It's the only LA fitness in Saint lucie County now, so high demand. Lastly, the employees are always nice and the classes they offer are a real workout. Very fun if you like that kind of thing but again, lots of people during peak hours. Classes sometimes are filled to the brim.

They have outdated equipment, mats, and heavy bags are dirty, the front desk/check-in staff couldn't care less about the gym or its members, the pool is dirty, no cryo or compression therapy is available, and there are limited group classes. I'm canceling my membership after 2 months bc it's just an all-around terrible gym experience.

I been going to this gym for years now and on Monday I was experiencing really sharp pain in my shoulder and it’s been consistent for 16 years. I asked the young man Kerry at the desk if they had ice packs or anything to see if it would help the pain and swelling. He responded “no but i can pray for you”. I never was the biggest believer but I let that young man pray for me. It’s been two days and it’s the first time in my 16 years I felt no pain in my shoulder. I came back Tuesday and he wasn’t working. Then I came back today and told the young man of the Miracle that has taken place and he asked about my relationship with God. He proceeded to pray for me and we both began to cry like babies. I gave my life to Christ in La fitness thanks to that young man who stepped out in faith. God is good

I recently visited the LA Fitness location in Port St. Lucie to switch my account from Esporta Fitness, as I was informed this could be done easily. Upon arrival, I was told by the girl at the front desk to go ahead and work out, and that the manager would assist me with the account switch before I left, as she didn’t know how to handle it.
After my workout, I encountered the manager who was extremely unpleasant. Despite explaining that I had been with Esporta Fitness for three years and had just moved to Port St. Lucie, he insisted on convincing me to sign up for a new membership from scratch. This would mean paying an $80 initiation fee, $45 for the first month, and an additional $70 annual fee. This was incredibly frustrating, considering I only paid $9.99 monthly at Esporta for a larger gym with better equipment and a friendlier front desk. Shockingly, they even tried to charge me $20 for a one-day use fee!
Given this poor treatment and unreasonable demands, I decided to look for other gyms. The manager then attempted to persuade me by criticizing other local gyms, claiming they were all bad and expensive. Despite his efforts, I remained firm in my decision and requested to cancel my Esporta membership.
To my dismay, I later found an attempt to deduct the monthly fees from my Esporta account despite my request for cancellation. I declined the payment and lodged a complaint with Esporta. Thankfully, I have since found a fantastic gym, RAW Athletic Club, which is far superior to this horrible place.
Avoid the LA Fitness in Port St. Lucie at all costs. The staff is unhelpful, the management is pushy and disrespectful, and the facility itself is not worth the hassle. Save yourself the frustration and find a gym that truly values its members.

I train with Belinda at the St Lucie West location. She is the BEST. Every time I show up she never disappoints. I feel every muscle in my body after our workouts. She is the sweetest person and love to play fun games ??

This gym equipment wise is good It can use some improvements in avenues like newer equipment but I find what makes the gym is the personal trainers some of are exceptional! Ask for Julie if you want some personal trainer very knowledgeable she helps even the regular members on form and quick techniques so you can have a good workout, super kind!

Visited here while I was at a tournament for my son. They had a great selection of weights and cardio machines! Also love the fact that they had a gym and a pool. Would definitely consider going here if I lived closer!
