This may apply to all Home Depot .. but my experience was online for purchase and delivery through the Port St Lucie HD Needed some wood restorer and tried to order on line .. wasted well over 30 minutes trying to place the order... which kept rejecting because of a "problem" with my credit card .. there was no problem .. except the one with Home Depot I called my Visa people who advised my card was fine I .then called HD's customer service .. they had no answer to the problem but offered to "try" to process the order if I repeated all of the input so they could enter it at their level. I was furious by then and terminated the call .

While visiting the area made a stop(never a quick stop for me)to pick up a few items. This is a very large store. Better selections then the H Depots in Vero Bch. Found the LED moisture sealed lights for the bath showers. FYI, builders install el chepo, regular yellow lights. Not eco friendly save you $ an energy. Found other things not on my list. I summoned help from a staff member. Who was very friendly and helpful. Provided me with knowledge about the different types of products. The what's and whys. I looked at the Garden Dept. And, did not find anything that prompted me to take it home. Would have wanted another bird feeder:-)) There selection is very poor. Along with high prices/not great quality for the$ Lots of friendly employees(Familiar Orange Aprons:-) Makes it easy to spot for help. At the Check-Out. Mention to the Cashier. My Military and received the 10% Discount. Really helps.

My elderly mother had outdoor carpet installed from Home Depot last January. All went just fine but within a few months, mold started to show up and got worse. I called Home Depot for help. Rita in the installations area was our champion and not only got the manufacturer to agree to install new carpet at no charge she also got Home Depot to cover the installation fee. When she told me the news, I had little tears come to my eyes because we were so happy. My mom is quite old and on a fixed income and this is going to make her holidays so much better. Thank you, Rita and Home Depot for standing behind your products and going the extra mile for your customers!

I've been renovating my house for the last four months so I've been at the store quite a few times. Every major appliance I have bought there has broken down and some horrendous way, as well as the fact that when I have price shopped things out I found things far cheaper on Amazon and other such sites. The pressure washer I bought their ended up breaking with in the first use, they took it and repaired it. When I got it back and try to use it it cut huge slices in my brand new patio. Some piece was missing from the bottom. I got a manager on the phone and she basically just told me to call on Monday when the real manager was in. What a joke!The washer and dryer I bought there has broken down several times, had to have someone out to fix the Samsung dryer eight times now. And today I just found out I have to have the washer looked at. Mostly I was using the store because it was convenient. Will never go back again, their return policy is ridiculous. And they absolutely won't help you with any of the items that they sell you. I'd rather buy it from a reputable distributor that actually looks out for their customers. Avoid this store!

Walked out of Home Depot after attempting to get assistance to purchase some irrigation supplies. Asked one associate for help he pointed me in the general direction of the plumbing area while he was walking away. I then asked another associate for assistance he got on his phone and continued walking away as he apparently thought it was more important to discuss a matter regarding a tool than helping a paying customer with an immediate need for help. To make matters worse i was "button holed" by a Home Services rep while leaving the store trying to get us to sign up for some at home service. Talk about perfect timing! I've been a loyal customer for 15 years buying everything from appliances to gardening items. NO MORE! From now on I'll go to Lowe's across the street. Unfortunately i had to give Home Depot at least one star or Yelp would not allow this review.

Was looking for help selecting granite or quartz vanity tops and floor tile at the Gatlin Blvd. location in Port St Lucie, FL. It was 3:00. The woman in charge of the granite dept. was walking away from me. I asked her, are you leaving? Her answer: yes, going to lunch. Two guys were there too, possibly different departments, but neither offered any help or even showed concern. Nobody else there to help me. These guys need some serious education about good customer service! Needless to say, I left and went to the Port St Lucie West location where I then left a five-star review!

Tried to buy some items and get the Veterans discount. Seems they only offer it on "special" days. they ought to be ashamed. Lowes offers 10% everyday to veterans. Thanks Lowes.

Preparing for the hurricaine Matthew we needed to get plywood as we were missing shutters. The workers at home Depot were prepared and had an awesome system to keep the peace and help it go smooth. Even though people rudely blocked exits to care for themselves the workers kept their cool. They had all hands on deck and we're outside helping load and tie down baught supplies. Kudos for being at work to help others and keeping stock coming in to help.
