I wish I could give 0 stars! Not for Malelanin! They are very prejudice. Booked an appointment for my 12 year old natural 4c hair to get a deep conditioner and blow out. As soon as we walked through the door we got the look. Daisy who we made appointment with over the phone kept telling how busy they were all while I am showing her my name in the appointment book. Then she began to tell me to detangle her hair with s brush and comb and the cost will be $95. Now why would I detanglr her hair before I brought her in for a wash and on top of that pay almost a $100 hecks no! Run if you are black!!!

IGNORANT! I guess you can tell the texture of people’s hair by their voice over the phone. FYI, any hair that is not chemically processed is natural, regardless of ethnicity. What you meant was am I black with kinky texture. NATURAL hair comes in various textures and can be soft, straight, kinky, coiled, etc. EDUCATE YOURSELF on the field you chose! READ A BOOK!

My first time at this salon and I must say I was pleased. Maria was very professional and friendly also knows how to treat and care for hair. Although the wait was a bit long just like any other salon, she was reasonable and end result was pleasing. My new home.

When I went to get my hair silk pressed, the lady told me one price and once she was finished, she added on $20 because I had afro type hair. I will never recommend anyone to go to this shop ever.

I am totally disgusted by this place. After making an appointment my daughter was turned away because they said that they did not have time to do her kinky hair. If that is the case they should have asked what texture hair she has before making an appointment. I guess her hair is too black for the services. But I will not refer 1 more person to this lady. I recently moved to PSL and have decided to give this place a shot. I'm happy I did! Maria really knows how to handle all types of hair. Everyone is super kind and upfront about the wait time, so there is no surprise on that end. I definitely recommend it!
