This review is for their high-end audio service. I dropped off a vacuum tube amplifier with a loud hum for service. They had the amp for two weeks. I picked it up, brought it home and it still was noisy. I sent it back for another two weeks. I brought it back and hooked it up. Same hum, but worse. They claimed the brand new tubes I bought from Upscale Audio in California were bad. Of course they’re not. I took it to another shop in Melbourne. That shop diagnosed the problem correctly and repaired it. No more hum. I do not recommend using this company to service your equipment. Best to avoid and find someone else.

I had the pleasure of meeting Russ and reviewing service to my un-modded 1983 Marshall JCM800 2204 Master Volume. I'm the original owner and am a bit particular about who touches it. Russ suggested caps, tubes and bias and if anything else came up he would call. We had to be patient deep in covid due to availability of the tubes but Russ came through and I had my amp back soon enough. I've given it plenty of time to burn in and settle out and I feel like my amp is brand new again. One bad tube will do it, and the caps were original. I would definitely call on Russ again for service to any of my amps, he's a wealth of knowledge and a great person to talk gear with. I would recommend Russ for service and repairs to any brand amp that he would take in. I felt that he was very fair and honest post transaction.

Russ has been doing my amp repairs for about 5 years and his workmanship is excellent.Some of my amps are vintage Fenders almost 60 years old.Why is professional integrity important in amp repair? I trust Russ not to switch valuable parts to make extra profits.A good value. Not very easy to find nowadays. Give him a call!
