10/10 stars! This is a wonderful AC company. My family and I were stranded without out AC for a while. Amtek worked tirelessly to get us a unit as quickly as possible. They were extremely effective in communication and scheduling timely service. It was a 5 hour install and the employees worked relentlessly in the pouring rain to get us a working AC unit. Customer service is exceptional. I couldn’t recommend them more!

I didn't want to report a negative review without speaking to the manager/owner first, however I left a message and he never called back. I didn't want to put one star but it wouldn't let me post without choosing a star. I called Amtek to do the 24 point A/C Tune Up. Fortunately I was home and shadowed the technicians. When the technicians completed the inspection they provided me with an estimate of $25,813.92 to do all the repairs. Remember nothing was wrong with my systems, I was just taking advantage of the 24 point tune up. He pointed out that the fan was installed incorrectly on one of my units and it was drawing in heat that will damage my entire unit. I watched him as he disconnected and reconnected wires. After he left I started to think about this. Prior to them coming out, I have a screen over my unit to keep lizards from falling into the fan and I remember the screen always being pushed up when it turned on. Now it wasn't being pushed up but being sucked downward towards the fan. When my husband came home, he looked at it and reversed the wires to the way they should be. The unit is now back to normal. I was also told that the ductwork was leaking and cut and needed to be replaced. Little did they know that this home was remodeled less than a year ago and the duct work was fixed and replaced. The vents and A/C Units were also checked and cleaned by another A/C Company.
Please be careful, I'm older and think that they were trying to take advantage of me.
The response from Amtek is not quite accurate but we will leave it at that.

Our AC died this past weekend and it got hot FAST in our house ! Amtek technicians Chris and Brandon came out and had so much compassion for us and were able to get a new motor installed the very next day. They answered all our questions and were sympathetic to our concerns ! John, from Amtek was able to install the new motor in under 40 minutes ! He even stayed to be sure the temperature in the house was coming down. I am so grateful for Chris, Brandon, and John AND the command center of the Amtek office. All were very professional and compassionate. Thank you AMTEK !!!

I couldn’t be happier with Amtek Air Conditioning! After weeks of frustration with another company repeatedly charging me to recharge my refrigerant, Amtek came to the rescue. They quickly diagnosed a leak and instead of just patching things up temporarily, they recommended a new unit. The whole process was smooth and professional. I’m overjoyed with their honesty and expertise. Now, my home is cool, and I’m saving money in the long run. Thank you, Amtek, for your exceptional service and for putting my mind at ease. Highly recommend!

In April we had service for the $39 tune up. We just moved into our home which is three years old and figured we should get it checked out even though we had a home inspection a month prior to the home purchase said the unit was operating perfectly and they checked the input/output etc. Brandon proceeded to check the unit and said he would tell me what size air filter I needed to buy. He forgot of course so I removed the dirty filter and replaced it myself Brandon seemed too busy trying to sell me upgrades that he never told me what size to get or did he take out the dirty one to show me how to replace it! I told him my husband was resting mdue to recent brain surgery so he had to give me any information. I never saw him vacuuming or flushing the drain line, or adding any algae tablets. I only saw him using his handheld meter. I think he was more concerned about trying to sell me upgrades and not there to tune up my AC! I told him I have home coverage on my ac unit so if it fails it is covered by that plan I have that I just wanted him to check it for the start of the summer season. I feel like I literally paid him $39 to try to sell me stuff! Needless to say a month later I had to have my drain line flushed by another company!! Terrible how companies are dishonest.

Review for AMTEK AIR CONDITIONING, INC.
Poor
I was told by Bradon that I must have a leak and that it would cost almost $500 to get the unit tested to find out from where it was losing freon. It would cost a total of about $1800 when everything was done to get the system running correctly and that it would almost be better to replace it for a new unit to be installed ($6,000 just for the unit), even though the AC was 10 years old. Even told me they can finance the new install. I told them to leave it as is and that I would take a card and call back when I decided what I would do. *Update: spent a total of $180 to find out the real issue and get it fixed and it's much cooler now without a new A/C. In fact I should be able to get another 4 to 5 years out of my AC.

Quickly replaced my old broken A/C unit. Price was fair. They put you on a call list to remind you when it is time for annual service.

The tech Brandon came out to do a tune up and ended up 1) not doing a tune up 2) secretly bleeding our Freon 3) making our house heat up by 10 degrees all because we said we were not interested in replacing the unit. Immediately after Brandon came back inside, the house started getting warmer. After 2 hours of the house getting hotter and hotter I went outside to check the unit and found the caps to the Freon lines had been removed and left off. This company will come out and mess up your AC system so that it forces you to have to replace it. We called the on call number to have someone else come look at it again and no one showed up.

I have been a loyal Amtek customer since they started over 13 years ago and have had multiple units installed, serviced and maintained across many different properties. Greg and Sean arrived promptly and fixed our A/C within a matter of minutes. The unit was cooling again within the hour. Our home was cold all night long without any hiccups. We can’t say enough about their excellence! Thank you! We valued the service so much we happily signed up for the 2-year membership with Amtek.
