I moved in last year and had billing problems as I didn't receive a bill until two days before rent was due so I now just pay a week in advance.December 1st the tax changed on rentals so I overpaid a couple of months (a notification from them would have been helpful) so then I short paid the last month but was still short $3.60, I called and asked if I could just add it to the next rent, the girl I spoke with was very understanding and said no problem she would make a note.Now I get a late invoice with a $15.00 charge for a short pay of a few bucks.I called and talked to a guy who was not helpful, not friendly and had no time for me as he said i need to call corporate.The reason why I here is because the last place I was at, a mom and pop place sold out to a corporation.So maybe U Haul was not the place to store my stuff.

I needed a simple packing item that was unavailable and no longer displayed. Nicolee was very helpful in her efforts to help me successfully solve my dilemma and she did so with a smile too, which is so unusual today. I have been to this location for rentals and other purchases in the past too and have been treated very well every time. I can't recommend them enough! Thanks Nicolee!

Why do you have to call someone to verify me? Doesn’t my drivers license and credit card do that? Seems to be good enough for TSA. Also as Jerry Seinfeld once said “You know how to take a reservation, you just don’t know how to hold the reservation.” I had to go to a different location to pick up the vehicle I reserved because it was not available.

RUN!!!! They refuse to properly fix the leaky roof. They neglected to tell my sister there was a flood and she had black mold on her furniture and her record collection. They're constantly getting a new manager. It's always hot in the building. Go to uhaul of beacon woods if you need to store stuff. They have great security, great manager that's been there for awhile. Never had a flood issue and I've been there a few years. My sister moved her stuff there now as well.

This place is horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!On father's day my husband went to our unit and it was literally raining in it. All of my stuff was ruined and it took me all day to get a hold of someone had to wait until Monday to do anything. By that time mold had started because they keep the climate control at 87 degrees. The insurance they have is garbage. And I have complain about the hallways having water problems before.Bug's really bad and people doing drugs in the bathroom. Crazy not a save please to be or to have your stuff!

I'm always having tire troubles and my husband and I pulled in the parking lot and asked if they wouldn't mind to air up my tire. But he actually fixed my tire and aired up the rest because he and his wife didn't want to leave us stranded. I tried to leave a review on the U-Haul website but it wouldn't let me without a reservation. Compassion like this doesn't show up often these days and I'm super happy to leave them the review they deserve because they were so kind to us.

I reserved a truck online 2 days before the needed day for pick up at 8:30am. When I arrived at the location they informed me they didn't have the truck and I would have to go to a different location to get it. I spoke to the dispatch about their guarantee on the website and they wouldn't give me a clear answer as to why I wouldn't be compensated at all for having to drive to a farther location than the one reserved initially. I still don't understand the point of saying you have a reservation guarantee, if upon arrival it's not there and there's no compensation.

On April 23rd of 2023, I rented a 20 ft truck to empty out my storage unit at the same location. While clearing out my unit, the sliding glass doors were locked, however, the individual (Timothy) failed to explain to myself as well as another family that was he was doing. Timothy was very condescending, rude, arrogant. Through the miracle of fitting large items through tight spaces I was able to finish emptying my unit. I returned the truck that night. The next morning I called and issued a complaint regarding Timothy. Flash forward to May 1st of 2023, I needed to rent another truck to dispose of things at my house, when I returned to the same location (we have used this location multiple time since its construction), when I informed that there was an "efile" stating that I owed money. My first thought was that maybe they tried to charge me accidently for the now closed account of my storage. Imagine my surprise when I learned that it was because I did not return the truck till that morning. I immediately asked the "owner" Tim Turner, how this was possible as I returned the truck on the night of the 23rd. In an accusatory tone, he replied that the truck was not on the lot for 8 days, and since I was the last to have it, the truck had to have been in my possession (there was a Pasco County Sheriff's Deputy right next to us). I explained to him that it was not possible. He stated that they tried to call me (they didn't) and that the emailed me numerous times (somehow my email address changed, as I received every email up until the 25th of April). I asked the "owner" Tim Turner to review the video, which he refused to look at. I showed him my call log on my phone, to which he replied that he can't go by that. I offered to pull my call log from my service provider, and he stood by the he go by that line. I pulled up every email from Uhaul that I have received since renting my storage unit in September. All he said was that he can only go by the notes in the system. I asked if it was possible that maybe the person I complained about failed to do his job, and check in the truck, call me, or email me. Mr. Turner's response was he wouldn't know me from Adam (I did give my name when I made my complaint). He stated that he was attempting to reverse the promissory note, but was unable to, because when he tried to "hit my card", it declined. In other words, he was trying to get the money that I did not owe. I was told that he would have to reach out to someone to have the promissory note voided, but it would be Wednesday the 3rd of May, before that would happen. I asked to be emailed when this was done and made sure that he had the correct email address. Wednesday passed, and I did not receive an email from Mr. Turner. So on Thursday, May 4th, I went back to the facility to get the paperwork, I was given a copy of the original contract, and was told by Mr. Turner that I owed no money. This was around 8 am. At 4:52 pm, I received a text from Uhaul stating that I owed an amount of $445.53, because alleging that I kept the truck for 8 days. I did call the customer service line on May 1st, and explained the situation. That was informed that Tim Turner "owner" was not an owner, but a general manager. I also learned on the morning of the 4th, that the person I complained about (Timothy) is the "owner's" son. This is a case of retaliation. Nothing has been resolved, and I am beginning to look for a different path towards a resolution. I was embarrassed and humiliated before. Now it is pure anger. I demanded that this situation be resolved today, and I was told it would be tomorrow before there can be any resolution. This is absolutely the worse I have ever been treated by any organization in my entire life.

They REFUSED to let me access my unit since September even though it was paid in full! I had to go to the courthouse and tell them that I was pressing charges to get into my unit! Finally they let me in and that’s when I realized they stole my 75inch tv!!!!!!!!!!! They were determined to take from me! I’ve HAD IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Good service and friendly staff. I returned a trailer we rented to move across the country and this location was my drop off location. I pulled into the designated area and was promptly greeted by an associate (can't remember his name) . He was very friendly and asked my to drive over to a spot to drop the trailer. He asked if the moving blankets were in the trailer but I had forgot to bring them. I indicated I would bring them back later in the day but he gave me full credit trusting I would do so. I did take them back later to drop them off but the trust I would do this is unusual for a business in this day and time. These are very friendly and helpful people...I will use them again when the need arises.

This this store location does not even deserve one. Upon turning return truck I was notified that the truck needed gas and was told that I can go across the street and put gas in it and I will be charged that's with another representative came outside and said don't worry about it and took the keys later on looking at my receipt I noticed a charge $18 to $30. Fee so I go back to the location after calling corporate and they told me because my friend had an attitude that's why they charge me. I normally don't write bad reviews but I've been in customer service all my life and that's not how you handle business there are many U-Haul places out there do not go to this one they are not honest people.
