If i could i would rate this place negative 10000000!
Never take you beloved furry friend here!! This place does care at all about them!!
I had the worst experience there with my dog!
He was having seziures and all they did was put a iv in him then left him in a cage all alone till they they charged me 500 jus to put the iv in!
So after after i paid them i asked to see my dog before i left. He was still having seziures and there was no actual vet that I could talk to! I then immediately took him out of there and went to another place and they told me what was wrong with him in 15 minutes and only cost me 200 instead of 500! This place is joke and a scam!!!
If you care about your pet please take my advice and go anywhere but this place!!

Dr. Wishik and her team are amazing. She saw our pet rat and she was always able to make time for our pet rat with a chronic condition. She did an amazing job treating my asthmatic cat as well. She took the time to explain things to me, work with my budget and very compassionate. She has seen all my dogs as well and was very good with my big dogs. Overall great small business and they give you a very personal touch.

I brought my dog in two weeks ago for an ear infection. It cost me almost 400$ for them to examine him and put medicine in his ear. I was asked to bring him back in two weeks for a follow up. Brought him in and was charged an additional 76$. In my experience, a follow up is usually included if it is a quick recheck. I say in the room for almost an hour before the vet came in, quickly flipped his ear over and looked at it and recommended we come back in another two weeks for another check. ABSOLUTELY NOT!! I am out almost 500$ over an ear infection.
Addendum- you can try to cleverly word your reply, the fact is, you overcharge clients for minor illnesses. I was charged 6$ alone for you to throw a q-tip in the trash. It was put on today’s bill as biohazard waste. It was a q-tip. You should have been up front about follow-up costs and respectful of my time.

We had a scary experience with our baby and didn’t have time to get our little girl to our regular vet. They got her in a treated her quickly with what we figured to be the appropriate steps. We are lucky we had a good outcome and they were available.

Update:
There is a lengthy inaccurate response but still waiting on the requested call back. Kodiak still needs preventative medication. Previous vet emailed 2023 HW docs
…….
While I like the vet, the staff appears incompetent. Every time I come to the vet, there are issues.
4-29-2024 $175.98
I brought both my dog (Kodiak) and a dog I was fostering (Hera) in. My dog needed to be established at this vets office as I brought him from out of state. The dog I was fostering needed a nail trim.
I brought in both dog’s previous paperwork to be copied and kept on file.
5-3-2024 $50.00 + $50.00 (same day double charged never refunded)
Kodiak was having diarrhea. They suggested a lab fecal. Nothing came from it.
5-3-2024 $356.00
Nail trim - sedation for Hera
More labs fecal - Kodiak (nothing learned)
7-3-2024 $274.40
Kodiak exam and 1 month of flea, tick, hw meds
I called to get a prescription for Kodiak’s Flea tick and heart worm medication. They insisted they had no record of my dog and that he had never been seen. I brought in him and his paperwork again.
They had told me they didn’t have a record of him coming in as the vet just looked him over previously and didn’t give him a full exam. They told me I didn’t make an appointment for my dog only for the other dog. That isn’t true, I made two separate appointments.
They did fecal in May at their office and sent in a fecal. Learned nothing from those tests.
Later I would be told they did find his file, but it was in the wrong location due to a previous employee. Probably the same employee who charged me twice.
Moving onto my cat, Sammy
I brought my cat in for surgery due to an Infected tooth. I was quoted $1202.20 Which I paid upfront prior to surgery.
I dropped off my cat and upon picking him up, I was told I had to pay another $200 for medication alterations. Keep in mind, I was never notified of any changes. This was not an expense I had planned for and did not have the funds to pay an extra $200 that day.
I gave them authorization to charge my card the next day. They asked for my card to which I replied they should already have it on file as I had to given it to them previously. They told me they aren’t allowed to keep cards on file. I found it very strange and yet another sign of incompetence because I specifically gave it to the front desk after I paid my previous bill to copy it and keep it on file. I watched her do it.
I was called four days later to check in on Sammy. He wasn’t doing well as he wasn’t eating and had diarrhea. They said to bring him in to have the vet check him.
A follow-up check up was included in the cost of the surgery. Come to find out, at the end of the visit, the follow up I already paid for is for two weeks after not for four days after. So I got charged, yet again, for an exam. $82.00. They had wanted to charge me $98.00 more for medication to help his appetite. That same medication is $48 total on Chewy. Keep in mind they made sure to charge me a $10 fee for the prescription.
7-17-2024 $1050.20
Balance for surgery (Sammy)
7-17-2024 $326.15
Cat (Sammy) inj-Solensia for hips, pre op screening, exam.
7-29-2024 $204.71
Additional charges for med changes, without notification, for surgery. (Sammy)
7-29-2024 $82.00
Follow up visit and prescription (Sammy)
I then asked to fill Kodiak’s prescription for his flea and tick medication. I was informed they didn’t have recent document of a heart worm test even though I had already given it to them twice!!!! I was then told to email it to them to which I replied. Why should I bother as you will just lose it again!!!
Instead, I had Kodiak’s previous vet Email it to them. I told the

Amazing grooming experience with Jen! Two weeks later and my sweet little buddy still smells so good and no longer has all the itchy issues he was having! Was worth every penny just to see my boy feeling better. He even carries himself differently, and I feel like he loves his new look! Thank you, Jen for taking care of our babies and treating them the way we do!

I’m highly disappointed with the lack of professionalism to answer a phone or call back me back as I am expressing genuine concern for my animal after being in the care of this facility. Who failed to inform me and my partner about the side effects of medicine and lack of caring about our puppy who was bleeding when we brought her in I do not recommend this place they do not deserve 4.7 stars. They like to shove medicine and flea medication down your throat, and they do not care about the well-being of your animals or the person who owns animal. Failure to accept fault or answer a phone or call back is unacceptable for a facility that is supposed to have a level of professionalism (update finally get a hold of them said she’s going to go get the doctors that was 15 minutes ago ) I will be going in office to speak with these people who obviously don’t care about anything then getting a paycheck

Over priced meds for fleas. $20 more than chewy. I can see $5-7 but not $20 they are crooks when it comes to pet meds. Pet care is acceptable.
