Refuses to take payment over the phone when i have non of my info. offered to give me the info tho.. Your customer relations are awful. Im willing to pay the fee for paying on the phone. Lazy people very lazy.

I’ve had autopay for over a year. I set it and forget it because I keep a pretty good budget and know about what the bills will be every month. I got a final notice from the city saying I was 3 months late and they would be shutting off my water. They had changed their system and just not updated it with everyone’s information resulting in it not drafting the payment. Then they tacked on late fees to their bill because they failed to draw the money or notify us. The very next day my mom calls me in a panic saying their water was off and the exact same thing happened to her only she didn’t catch it in time.This is completely unacceptable and they will be collecting money in late fees from people that should not owe them.

I have been paying my bills online for years and now it is telling me cannot find my account. I called their customer service and it was horrible . I told the woman I was putting in my account number and customer number and it could not find me. She then suggested I go in and make a one time payment. Very rude how about being helpful.

Customer service is very rude. They must only hire miserable people who hate their job. Every time I call, they have one-word answers and won't help you solve the problem you are calling about. They also charge illegal water charges. They opened an account with my name without my permission and then charged me for water service when the house was vacant, and no one was living there. Called for help and was told just pay it and go to the Commissioners meeting we cant help you here. If I had a choice of water companies to choose from I would not choose water service with the City of New Port Richey!

Horrible horrible, never answer the phone in business hours, i have been trying to call them for days and emailed them and no one responses. All people in the utility office needs to get fired!! Horrible horrible service.

They never answer the phone during billing hours. After days of phone tag they assured me that the account was transferred to my name, but when the appraiser arrived to inspect the water was off.

If only there were zero stars! When we first moved to NPR, I set up our water with no problems and immediately set up auto-draft for my monthly payments. For the first three months everything went through on the due date as needed; however, every month after that I have had to call for them to resubmit my payment by phone because their auto-draft was not working. Almost every time I was charged a late fee and because of this, I had to send multiple emails before they sent an email by customer service saying that they would reimburse me. It took months for my money to be reimbursed. Now a new billing cycle and my payment was not taken and it is near immpossible to make a payment on the website most days. Who ever thier web-designer is / the people who developed the payment page need to seriously go back to school and touch up on thier skills. It is the worst!

yes they are horrible not only did they charge me 500.00 on water bill, I paid the 500 in the morning . They said they would turn on my water that day, they never did. I had to call the non emergency dispatch police to have the utility people come out to turn on my water at 4am on sat

The guys out on in the trucks do a great job. Intelligent, hard workers. The office personnel has always taken time to explain the bills...and boy do they need explaining!!But the web system for paying online is extremely awkward. Better than the one they had 2 yrs or so ago. That one felt like a failing high school student did the programing.This newer one takes much more time than should be necessary to pay online. Had to call twice to figure out where to find the info they were asking for.

Never answer the phone. When you do get someone they are rude. There are always tons of adjustment fees and added charges. Most I've ever paid for water in my life!

Had an underground leak My bill was $130.00, WOW! Found the leak in front yard, shut off water immediately. Got a Plumber, $ 200.00 dollars later. Sent bill to see if the could adjust it lower, being an UNDERGROUND leak. They ONLY reduced my bill $ 30 dollars. lol. You'd think that it's coming out of their own pocket. Question, why does the water department raise our rates every single year, without fail in October 3% or 4% ???? EVERY YEAR... But, I have never had a problem with their service for 30 years though.

Terrible organization. I tried to sign up on line only to get immediately locked out. I checked the confirmation email and not only had they sent the password in plain text after signing up (not ok!) they truncated the last two characters off (which explains the lockout)! Fairly sure they are breaking some NIST security requirements there...
I've been trying to call them for days and no one answers. It just goes to a voicemail.
