A PLUS Fireplaces performed a service call for us today. The office called yesterday to confirm the appointment and Buzz, an expert technician, called when they were on their way. Mike assisted Buzz. Our gas fireplace is 25 years old and was not working. Buzz took the fireplace apart, cleaned meticulously and fixed the burner which had previously been converted from LP to natural gas. He also installed a remote control which works great. Buzz answered all of my questions and explained the work he was doing very clearly. Both Buzz and Mike were extremely professional and personable. I highly recommend A PLUS Fireplaces.

We spoke with the customer service individual who told us multiple times the person was going to be coming to our home between noon and five to work on our fireplace. We sat around all day until 6 o’clock and nobody shows up and nobody called. We called the next day and they tell us he ran late. Again, No attempt to call us. She then states that all we can get you in a week from now. there is no attempt to get us in first thing the next morning and when we complained about it she said there’s nothing they can do. They came five days later with the same 5 hour window. The work was fine but they don’t value your time. I don’t know how companies like to stay in business with such poor communication. I don’t recommend them.

Frank has helped us a few times now when we purchased a home with a gas insert they installed 19 years ago! He walked us through how to spark it up when we first moved in and found us an old part needed to get it started this winter. Just in time for the cold weather. Will definitely be calling these guys when it’s time to upgrade the insert. Always friendly, always helpful and a great business to have in the neighborhood.

We needed a repair on our 30 year old propane fireplace. A Plus Fireplaces was the only firm in the greater Tampa area that was willing to do it. The made an appointment, contacted us and showed up when scheduled. They quoted a price that i thought was for the service call, Almost an hour and a half after beginning work the fireplace was working and the place was spotless. The total charge was the original quote.Excellent service, spent time explaining what had been done and told us the work had a one year warranty.

So frustrated!!!! I want to get an outdoor fireplace, and the very nice gentleman who came to my home for my indoor gas fireplace promised me that a salesperson would give me a quote. However, it’s been 7 months, and — despite me sending countless emails and leaving several Vmail’s— no one will call me back. I guess they don’t want any new business, so I would hesitate before contacting them. Apparently, they are too busy.

Called Trish last week they showed up today to take a look at my cap because I thought it was leaking from my cap told me it would be at least $2000 for a new cap which I was fine with DJ and his helper showed up here and said that the cap Is fine, and it is not leaking And the roof needed flashing where it was meeting the chimney Didn’t even charge me a trip charge or nothing what a great honest company hard to fine nowadays THANK YOU AGAIN FOR BEING HONEST

Was driving down US 19 this morning and one of their drivers was driving like a maniac and pulls up next to me honk his horn and flipped me off and I don't even know why so unprofessional.

Wish there was a 0 star option! Terrible customer service! They do not stand by their products and always have some excuse as to why they can't help. Will NEVER use them again.

Woman on the phone hung up on me while trying to retrieve part number I even called back and she didn’t answer, I almost purchased a new fireplace from you guys thank goodness I did not (terrible customer service)

I bought a gas fireplace from them. The pilot light went out and so I drove 30 minutes to ask them to show me how to light the pilot light and they refused on safety grounds. I asked if I could have a technician come out and they said it would be $150 and not anytime soon. The customer service is sorely lacking. It seems to me they want to sell you big ticket items and then have nothing further to do with the product.Update: so my fireplace doesn't have a pilot light in the conventional sense. So there is no lighting of a pilot light. The fix was to change batteries on the thingamagig... like really, they could not have mentioned this and saved me a service call? In my opinion, this business SUCKS

Great service! Maria was very helpful and responsive guiding me through the selection of a gas log set on the phone and follow up emails, and Buzz did a great job on the install and walking us through how to operate the logs. Highly recommend!

We're from Houston and were trying to get our Heat & Glo fireplace started manually during the winter storm of early 2021. Everyone locally was stranded so we started calling around the country. We happened upon these guys outside of Tampa. They took my call and started trying to help us out when we told them our story. They were courteous, did not push back and did everything they knew to help us out. They could have just as easily told us they could not help. I hope this review helps them out half as much as they helped us out in our freezing house without power or water.

This company has too much business to take care of its previous customers. They have installed a gas fireplace for us. It keeps breaking down .We called them two weeks ago and they want you to leave a voice mail and tell you that they are scheduling repairs for end of February. We left a message and still have not heard from anyone after 12 days. Why can they not get a a person to answer their phones; especially if they are that busy and making so much money? Who is supposed to fix this fireplace for us? Hello, by the time February is here we won't be needing the fireplace. Just ridiculous. This is what happens when the wind helps turkeys fly.
