They will continue to charge you for a trainer after your contract is up without notice. There is no way to contact the GM. The trainers are constantly late or just don't show up for a scheduled appointment. Absolutely terrible place. I left LA Fitness to join here, you definitely get what you pay for.

An awesome gym that's helped me reach a lot of goals. Friendly clientele, even friendlier staff. No matter the time of day, it's definitely a well worth it environment. The gym is clean, organized, has plenty of equipment and a great atmosphere. It is truly a great gym. I will say it could definitely use one more bench press, but that doesn't hinder you from performing your workout routine in any way if it's packed and included in your program.

I was on a 14 day trial and they told me I could only go during staffed hours. That’s fine but I showed up at 5pm on a Friday on my second day of the trial and the door was locked and nobody answered the phone. Wasted a drive there, won’t be back for a 3rd day, seems like staff is unorganized.

This gym is super convenient & close to home.one that’s open 24 hours are a must on some days so, thanks. Love the hydro massage chairs. Everyone I’ve spoken to before/after/during a workout are so friendly. My only complaint are the music is a complete snooze fest a lot of the times, so bring your own. The ReAct trainer is a game changer & a must do!I didn’t have my key once & had to wait for someone else to come behind me to let me in despite being after 8a on a weekday. Staffed hours… no? They let me know that the door remains locked these days so if no one is at the front desk… good luck!

I am concerned that this gym is headed in the wrong direction. I can say they have one of the nicest and cleanest gyms in the Port Orange and South Daytona area. Some of the issues are that the place is headed toward needing a serious deep cleaning and a new interior paint job. When it comes to equipment, several machines need new pads, pedals, subscriptions, or screws. The water machines are poor with one totally broken and the other poor in quality. The door lock is in need of repair or total replacement. The front door area floods every rain and floods the walkway out front. Seriously, the place needs some work done & equipment repaired. Below are a few images of issues with the TV bike that has a broken pedal and has no subscription. The leg lift needs a new pad and is totally scratching the backs of my legs. The fat measurement machine is faulty and not properly operated or maintained. It was off by over 20lbs! I was told that everything else was right. That is not true and the website for this equipment claims that the test is worthless if the thing scales you wrong. I think you never upgraded or updated the equipment like that bike subscription thing. The entire place needs a paint job and this along with the carpet edge (very dirty) is in total disrepair. Check all equipment for the proper amount of screws. I found a bench missing screws and the next day it had just been rigged to work and still missing bolt screws. The TV bike has no subscription, was broken for weeks, and has a broken pedal. Multiple pieces of equipment have rust and need adjustments.

I absolutely enjoyed working out here. I did personal training with an awesome trainer. I signed up under Justin at the time. I signed up for Personal Training for 6 months for 2 times a week. He showed me a laminated desk card with the training cost amounts, times and lengths of payment or so I thought. Looking at my contract is does state Training Program PT30 6 MO 2x Wk, however what was not pointed out to me was the print in the upper corner that the agreement type was "Recurring Service"On June 16, 2022 I fell while being trained. I landed on a treadmill that was behind me. This is where my trainer was having me do squat shuffles while holding a weighted plate. My trainer went to find ice or at least an instant cold pack for my wrist which was swelling at the time. She found nothing to help with first aid. She and I walked to front desk where female manager was standing with another coworker. She stated she didn't even know I had fallen. (We were less than 15 ft. behind her and I did yell out.) Once she was made aware- she did nothing. I left and went to urgent care where I was diagnosed with a distal radius fracture aka a broken wrist. This is not why I am writing the review. Once I had a cast on I continued with my trainer- we worked on lower body. (Unfortunately I am still having complications for this injury that I am under Dr care for and am about to undergo surgery a whole year later!)I contacted Tyler the fitness director on June 30, 22 and he put a hold on my account due to my injury and not being able to come in. I also have anywhere from 25-40 unused personal training sessions already paid for that I was attempting to use up prior to injury. While I was under the impression that my account was on hold, I received emails about an outstanding balance. I spoke with Tyler again on phone and he asked me to come in and sign for cancellation of membership. I came in and completed the paperwork with my physical signature and did an exit interview in the managers office. I do not know the managers name I sat down with, he was a mid-height young black man- I believe he started after Micah left.I am writing this review because Workout Anytime has harassed me with emails and phone calls about my account being outstanding. They have utilized an attorney to contact me as well. I have come in personally to cancel membership and have emailed/written to cancel membership. In one of my letters dated 2/9/23 I stated that if Anytime Workout does not have record of my physical signature or exit interview that was completed in 2022- that is an error on their employees part not mine. This entire mess with not cancelling my PT has now effected my credit score. Please take note that cancelling your membership with this facility is impossible even with injury, an IN person signature and letter writing. As much as I enjoyed my time working out here and the great PT I had (Emily) I do not recommend working out here because they will continue to charge you and they give an extremely hard time to their customer when membership is cancelled. There was and is no hassle-free experience with Workout Anytime, it is not a simple nor positive experience to cancel. They are still trying to collect a balance from me even though I have completed the cancellation process! The next step is for Workout Anytime to properly cancel as well as stop requesting payment and zero out the balance. Workout Anytime needs to contact the attorneys they utilized and report to credit companies their error so this will come off my credit. And just a FYI I still have 25-40 unused PAID Personnel Training sessions with Workout Anytime!

The gym itself is fine. Plenty of equipment to get your workout done. Generally not too crowded and 24 hours is a plus.My beef with this gym is their “success session” and the trainer there named Kevin. I signed up for the more expensive membership which comes with the body scan and their success session with a trainer. The body scan is done with a gaming console camera, but the guy who sold me the membership made it sound like this super high tech thing they’ve got.I go in for my session and the scan says that I am like 47% body fat. Instead of saying oh that’s weird and definitely not right, Kevin proceeds to explain to me that I am what’s known as “skinny fat”. For reference, I’m 5’7 and 150 pounds. If I had 47% body fat I would be an obese, walking heart attack. I don’t even have a gut, I’m skinny and have relatively lean muscle on my body. Fortunately, I’m not as naïve as he thought. I’m sure some people who don’t work out and don’t understand what 47% body fat means could’ve bought into his nonsense.Just beware, the trainers here, Kevin in particular will say anything to get you to sign up for more sessions. Experiences like this are why I don’t trust personal trainers in the slightest bit.

After moving out of state and checking out gyms, I was the happiest with workout anytime. The trainers make you feel comfortable! The managers Zane and Tyler are extremely friendly and helpful and make the place a joy to be in! I’m very happy here!

The management needs to be taught how to handle things appropriately. I’m very offended to be accused of a FELONY when there are cameras all over the gym. Why would you call and create an issue before doing your due diligence? I would be very embarrassed to be any of the staff working the evening of April 14th, 2023. Very unprofessional and I’ll be happy to share my experience. I’d love to chat with the owner about my experience.*UPDATE* Spoke with management, they don’t want to help process a refund of the down payment to join. Joined less than three months prior to this occurrence.

We have found WOA to be a motivating environment to achieve our fitness goals. It’s very clean and plenty of equipment and a nice mix of mix people. The person at the front desk James was very helpful in answering our questions and giving us a free 3 day trial.

Went to the facility to see what equipment they had during normal staffed hours and to get pricing details since their website and their Google Photos lacked sufficient details on both. No one was at the front desk, had to hunt someone down in an office who was on a video meeting to ask them for help and they had to get their assistant manager from the back who was doing something else to help me out. To just see what their facility looked like required signing up as a guest, including getting my phone number and email. Didn't want to risk getting spam called/emailed and harassed to join just for the sake of seeing if this place was a good fit for me. Instead I left and checked out Anytime Fitness around the corner where they were fully transparent on pricing, gave me a walk through, and offered to answer any questions. Based on this interaction and their lack of treating me like a normal human vs. an intake form to capture my data, l will definitely be avoiding Workout Anytime.Edit after reply from owner:> As far as filling out the iPad, this is a corporate/liability policy. Everyone that passes the front desk has to fill out a liability waiver for insurance purposes.I understand. I have no issue filing out a liability indemnification form. But you don't need email or phone number from guests for that. That's just for data capture, marketing, and resale purposes.

I went in to sign up for a membership and Tyler the manager helped me. He was friendly and very helpful with all of my questions! Took me on a tour and explained everything. The gym was really clean and felt inviting. I’m very happy with my decision to join Workout Anytime in Port Orange!
