We dropped our dog off yesterday at 9:30 and were told 1 or 2 pm. My husband finally picked up our golden retriever at 1:45, however it was not our golden. He immediately noticed strange behavior and coloring I came home from work to notice how much darker he was and I could not find his birthmark. The dog we had was panting excessively and had high anxiety ( understandable) so after calling pick if the litter to ask what they did to my dog. He is darker, panting, nervous. I got a casual response that he was a good boy all day they did not know? She used the same shampoo? I took the dog to the vet to ensure no major issues were happening. We could not calm him down- Still not convinced this is our dog but trying to figure everything out at once while having work done on our house… the other couple came to get their golden and got our dog instead. Long story but we exchanged dogs at 8 pm at Vet ER in south Daytona.I kept trying to call pick of litter but they don’t monitor their phones and I did not get a call until this morning and she agreed to refund the grooming charges and vet bill I incurred.I’m writing this review and giving only a 1 as she did refund me my monetary cost but not the personal upset and anguish our dogs went through. It was a total of 10 hours since he was dropped off until safely home with us.She pretty much blamed us for not knowing our dog and yet both the other family and us had called and said the dog is too dark, too light, etc.. and she needs to acknowledge the process of tracking and being responsible for dogs left at her facility!!!!To culminate all of this. My dog was not finished being groomed. His paw fur is chopped up and not trimmed smoothly, he had a big tangle of hair on his belly, neck and hind quarters were never trimmed. The other golden had feathers cut off on all legs, hind quarters cut uneven, just a terrible job all around.For not taking accountability- I will never set foot in that place nor recommend the place! If you cannot groom the dog in a couple hours you should not be stacking them up so tightly and causing distress to the dogs. So disappointing…….

Was very professional and gentle with the animals, worked miracles on our Luna. Highly recommend this place to all fur parents.

My brother took his dog here and they did not do anything that he asked for or paid for. They do not seem to care about making it right either.

I take my dog here once a month for grooming. He is a maltipoo and his hair grows very fast. They always do a wonderful job on my dog Comet. I highly recommend them

Ms Denise is a very nice lady and excellent at what they do. My apology forgetting the ladies name who cleaned my dogs teeth but she was wonderful. I couldn’t be happier. It’s worth the drive from Mount Dora.

SPCA shot clinic was a real money saver for our family pooch, AND, we were very happy w/ the $5.00 dog or cat nail trimming fee, w/ No appt. Necessary. They make your brick and mortar experience very pleasing w/ their courteous and professional staff!!
