Took my two Chiweenie here just for a nail trim. I heard one of my dogs yelping in the back when he was back there and then when they came out their butts were all wet. They said that they had an accident on themselves. I usually take them to Petco to get their nails done. I’ve NEVER had this problem before I wouldn’t take my dog here. My mother-in-law was also taking her two dogs.. they were fine. The first couple times now when she goes back, the dog starts shaking. It doesn’t even wanna go in the room like it’s scared beware of this place. I don’t trust them with my fur babies

Very nice place! Cute little store. My first visit was today and they had us in and out. They did a great job with my 60lb rescue! We will be back

Update: When I took Smokey in just two months ago, the price was $78.00 plus tip. This time, it was $100 plus tip. When questioned about this, I was advised she raised the prices due to the amount of time it takes. It took about 4 hours each time. No advance advisement. That's almost a 28.5% price increase. I'm on a fixed income and can't afford these surprises. She did complain after the first time that he was panting heavily, evidently too much for her, all during the grooming. When I brought him in the second time I questioned if he had water available to him while waiting because he drank a lot of water after I picked him up. She stated that was because he was on the grooming table and panting heavily but no water was available to him while there. I think she raised only my price so I wouldn't return because of his panting while being groomed and my questioning about water availability. She should have advised me of the price increase prior to grooming. It worked, I will not return. Too bad, I liked it there.
Finally!!! A groomer that listened attentively and followed through on my expectations. She did a magnificent job paying attention to the issues I had with the previous groomer. Smokey never looked so good. The grooming of his feet was the best I've ever seen done. I will return frequently and strongly recommend Doggie Stylz to everyone!!

$180 to trim my medium size dog...and the groomer/owner would not even come out to talk about it or greet the dog... went down the street to Paulines and she did it for half that amount and established a bond with our dog...and it was a perfect hair cut!!!

They don't answer their phone or provide updates before you get to there. Petco is better.

Awful, shave my dog down to the skin even cut his eyelashes and whiskers. Did not recognize him that's how awful he looked. Run don't walk from this horrible groomer .

I brought my cat in yesterday early I was greeted by a nice young lady who took my cat to the back and within five minutes my cat was back out and done the gentleman there who is very friendly was quick on doing his nail trim and ear cleaning this place is very nice and I would recommend it and I will be back. Thank you for your attentiveness and quick service.

If you’re considering this grooming salon for your beloved pet, I urge you to reconsider based on my recent experience. Despite its decent 4.2-star rating, the visit raised several red flags that suggest this establishment does not prioritize the well-being of its furry clients.
Appointment and Scheduling Issues: I booked an 8:00 AM appointment, the only time available, which hinted at a bustling, popular service. However, the reality was disconcerting. Upon arrival at 7:58 AM, I noticed a crowd of dogs being dropped off at the same time, which seemed unusual and chaotic.
Lengthy Service Time: The front desk informed me that my dog would be ready by noon, four hours later. This extensive duration for a simple grooming session seemed excessive. It wasn’t until later that I discovered the reason for the delay: the salon batches multiple appointments together, rather than attending to each pet individually at their scheduled times.
Professionalism and Communication: After returning home, concern for my dog, who hadn’t eaten before the appointment, prompted me to check on her. The staff’s response was unexpectedly hostile—a stark contrast to the professionalism you’d expect from a service handling animals. I was even incorrectly told I was late despite arriving before the appointed time.
Safety Concerns Amplified by Customer Reviews: My unease grew as I perused past reviews, uncovering alarming incidents where pets were harmed under their care, including one report of a dog that tragically died.
Lack of Basic Veterinary Compliance: It became evident that the salon operates with minimal regard for animal health regulations. They did technically required proof of vaccination but they didn’t care if you sent it later or at all, a basic precaution that any reputable pet care service should enforce and make you give out beforehand.
In summary, this grooming salon’s operations suggest a severe lack of care and professionalism. From mismanaged schedules to poor customer interactions and troubling safety records, I strongly advise pet owners to seek services elsewhere. Your pet deserves a safe, caring, and attentive grooming experience.
Update: my dog rosy has been incredibly itchy and spitting out phlegm after she got home. I don’t know if it’s from this place or not but she was perfectly before she went there.
